i hope chitown gets nick young.. they need somebody like him who can drop buckets... kid has a lot of potential too... if he is given the minutes he can give you 20-25 easily.

i wouldn't hate on dstyles too much fellas

from what i'm seeing, dwight is most likely headed to BK and deron will definitely resign with the nets, if that's the case.

that'll make for the scariest duo in the league, period. i mean even when the knicks sign cp3, i'm still gon be scared, especially since the nets will have the cap space to put some solid role players around that pair.

Nope. I think you're forgetting what die hard Magic fans have already been through (Shaq, Penny, TMac, Brick Anderson, etc). This could just be another in a long line. I'll be indifferent if Dwight goes, since it's been a very real possibility for a while now, along with the fact that he's been acting very cunt-y as of late.

And yall are fucking stupid if you think that Nets deal is going down. If we're just going to basically give D12 away, we might as well hold on to him for the season and let him go after. That possible Laker deal that's getting tossed around is fucking stupid too. Look for some serious activity in the next month regarding pulling another superstar to ORL. That might mean Josh Smith, or even throwing a lot at New Orleans in order to get CP3 in the hopes that it convinces both him and Dwight to resign. Go big or go broke... or go broke anyway.

There's been some speculation about Caron Butler going to Chicago as well, which is an equally scary threat as a heat fan. Along with the potential of Dwight going to Brooklyn and CP3 to NY. Heat got some moves too though. We'll probably grab Dalembert or Tyson Chandler to give us a rebounding/shot blocking presence in the paint so we'll be good

Shits gonna hit the fan regardless come December 9th. I think I'm more excited for this season then i was last year.

^Nah. The names getting thrown around are expensive and aging quickly (Gasol, Odom) or broken and immature (Bynum). If either NOH or ORL trade their centerpiece stars, they instantly go into rebuilding mode. Rebuilding teams don't need old, costly players. Not to mention those teams are only going to get two of those Lakers, and that is not equal to losing a player who is the best at their position.

That's the problem with ESPN, they act like everyone is going to bow down to LAL and give them whatever they want and take garbage in return. The value of most Lakers is inflated because they are a part of that collective team, and have had Kobe and Phil. Take two of em and put them on another team, and they will quickly look very fucking average. NBA GMs are well aware of that.

yea espn doing constant headlines along the lines of "can the lakers land both dwight and cp3?" or "lakers are interested in landing not only one, but both dwight and cp3" yet every espn analyst is saying its basically impossible for them to get both, and many of them are saying they arent the front runner to land either individually. its all about headlines.

depends. if warriors lose out on chandler, which seems likely, they have no shot at paul. if that's the case, expect monta to be placed on the trading block for someone with some size and defense (iggy is the first person that comes to mind)
