i my opinion great stats equals a very "efficient" good player. a truely great player to me does this plus shows grit, hustle, is hungry to win, etc. finds ways to win even if they arent supposed too according to stats and all that shit.

Big rumor trade involving Kevin Love and Pau Gasol:
www.lakersnation.com/pau-gasol-kevin-love-trade-rumor-will-lakers-and-timberwolves-make-a-deal/2011/06/17/

* Lakers want one of them first rounders though.. Which one is 2nd overall and the other 20th, not sure of the twolves want to give up on of those plus K-love for Gasol..

I think the Lakers want way too much for gasol, but minnesota's gm is dumb and might actually trade them love/a pick, which would be a huge steal for the lakers

otis already made it clear that he wont trade dwight and would much rather see him walk away. before you guys say he wont do that because that is stupid, remember this...

he signed rashard lewis to a MAX deal, 22mill salary... the SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY AS KOBE. then he proceeded to trade a regular 10pts/4rebs guy for gilbert arenas, a guy who warms the bench and usually stays on there who happens to have a year more than rashard, and being paid around like 18-19mill a year.

otis smith is also the guy who traded an expiring contract of vince carter, gortat (valuable trade piece), pietrus(the magic's best lockdown defender), a first rounder who happens to be the 23 pick this draft.... for jrich(okay piece but isnt fit for the magic), a declining hedo turkoglu and earl clark who logs 5 mins every 10 games

otis is a moron and he would def let dwight go for nothing. and if that's the case, not many teams can sign him outright because of the new cba having a 50 mill HARD CAP. so where will he go? the cavaliers? the timberwolves? good luck with that.

Mike Brown has made it clear he wants Lakers management to trade for Varajao so LA probably gonna break up their front court somehow.

Brooklyn.

If it comes down to that we'll let Lopez walk away and get rid of Outlaw's contract.

We have a smart GM who traded away a PG who's bright future is in the past and a PF who has the chance of being the next K-Mart and the #3 draft pick in a eh... Williams and Irving draft.

Good to know that not even the Lakers are immune to shitty decisions by the front office. First Mike Brown, now this.

I rather see Dwight in a Knicks uniform than either one of those two teams.

Whoa, I can't see dwight on either team. Can't GS just get Iggy? The Okc trade would be fair. but no one's taking Perkins....

apparently Philly doesn't want Ellis anymore.

Orlando has said no way to the GSW trade, which obviously is unfair. Lakers have now offered Bynum and Odom as expected, to which Otis responded with a big giant NO.

i really doubt dwight will get traded anywhere, if he does end up leaving orlando i think it would be through free agency if orlando cant scrap together enough talent in time

if Howard goes to the Lakers the NBA is rigged (which it kinda has been for LA in the past). So with that, I hope he goes to the Bulls or the Nets.

If Deron Williams decides to stay a Net I believe there is an outstanding chance that Howard will move there.

i hate to say it but you're right

with 2 big stars playing at the 1 and the 5, new jersey would be able to build around that and truly create a championship team.

As much as us Warriors fans want D12, it's not going to happen. IMO he either goes to the Nets or he stats put. And am I the only one that would've taken that OKC trade offer? Assuming that he has a higher chance of leaving, come next offseason.
