After Finishing a workout, Do you prefer a cold or hot shower? Some buds and i have been arguing whats more 'soothing' after a hardass workout

in my opinion....cold showers relax your muscles more..

Some ppl do something called an ice bath?...supposedly it helps with DOM (Delayed onset muscle soreness)...

I usually take cold showers if it's during the summer...but right now its cold as f*ck..so no cold shower for me.

cold... cuz cold showers can help your muscles development

also cuz supposedly taking really hot showers after a work out MAY lead to a heart attack

Warm showers are more soothing.

ive taken cold before, and they just arent comportable.

its weird, everytime im out on a 97 degree day and sweating bullets, ill be like, "as soon as i get home...im takin a cold shower" but then i do get home and i dont feel like taking a cold shower so instead i take a hot one.

i just dont like cold water

and haha id never be able to take an ice bath

Never thought of which is better. When I workout, I sweat like crazy. So taking showers is more on the hygiene side, so I choose a hot shower to feel a lot cleaner. I always heard jump in a pool after a workout or sport game, so I guess cold.
