Theres no way that Fedor can continue to be called the number 1 HW in the world, even if he is the most skilled and dominant. I see him destroying C level talent in M-1, seeing as how Couture will not be let out of his UFC contract.

on another note, cant wait for TUF finale this sat. Huerta v. Guida is gonna kick ass.

Im sure the eye poke had something to do with it, but George got the shit knocked out of him by Tommy. Brutal.

Fedor was my favorite MMA fighter, but I really can't root for him anymore now that he's basically resting on his laurels. You're probably right, he shouldn't be considered the best in the world. Fighting in Pride, he was, but without constant competition against the best fighters, you have to think he's gotten a little soft.

I got GSP and Silva. As for the Soko and Machida that's a toss up. Im leaning towards Machida since i've yet to see someone dominate his karate but for some reason, something is telling me that Soko might take it. Hopefully they all go to war instead of those instant knockout/sub matches. Def looking towards to Silva/Liddell and GSP/Hughes bout.

I'm not going to lie, Guida vs Huerta has to be top 3 fight this year. I was going for Guida but nonetheless I was impressed by Huerta's ability to comeback. Now I'm hoping the fights in UFC 79 can match the excitement of this fight.

I'm actually going for Silva too but his aggressiveness might actually work against him. With Silva continuing to press Chuck it leads him open to two things 1) that crazy overhand whipping punch he throws while backing him up 2) straight punch down the middle (even though he doesn't throw it that often, it knocks people out when it connects ex. Horn and Mezger) 'cause Silva very rarely throws straights in those crazy barrages there pretty much all hooks.

Guida relentlessly took Huerta DOWN and Down and once again DOWN!!!

Huerta's stand up is pretty sick i like how he utilizes kicks!

i seriously started to wonder when is Guida going to get his hair cut?!?

Matt def. does because he prepared well for this fight and trained longer than GSP did... i dont really mind who wins since im not really into either fighters but i got to say i like the fact that Matt accepted this challenge and same goes for GSP in such a short notice

I'm actually more hyped for UFN12 than UFC80..

'79 my picks are GSP and Wanderlei - I think Matt Hughes has a much stronger chance of winning the fight this time around, but I still see GSP having too much for him.

He had no MMA skill is what you mean. Hong Man Choi is a pure striker and that is it. He won a bunch of K-1 fights, but there is no place for him in MMA.
