lauzon's submissions > george's grappling.

Lauzon> . lol chopz whatever you write makes no sense at all, you say rampage will win but you think lyoto will win? a better striking? lol.

+well cuz im going with the former Pride FC fighter and yeah I also want to see him vs. Shogun Rua 2 for the title.

I'm just saying if the table is turned and Lyoto wins then what I said would be the case.
Lyoto is too elusive and he knows how to utilizes kicks. Rampage doesnt check fucking kicks.

Power vs. Technique.

+all right, now I get what u were saying Atillah. LETS GO CRACKHEAD CONTROL.

i guess i shoulda bolded the grappling part.

george is on another level btw.

Word. Lauzon isn't pulling anything that George hasn't already seen like 1000000 times already. George is gonna pretty much beat him from bell to bell.

nah you're definitely right. I think the only nig in UFC who messes with legit 10th planet stuff is George Sot. But even still, I haven't seen him really use anything from the 10th planet system in a fight.

Great fights so far. *SPOILER*

Phil Davis looked great. Slick little submission he pulled off.

I had a feeling Falcao was gonna win. I checked his fight record on sherdog and I peeped his highlights, I knew he had what it took beat Harris. No offense, but IMO, Harris, while he's no pushover, he's overrated. Dude's just a great athlete, but he's not a real technician. So anybody with legit technique who can match his physicality, will beat him.

So far I'm 100% on my predictions.

Time for BJ. Let's go baby!

Damn, I can see how rampage won 2 rounds by aggression, but in japan rules, Machida woulda won. 3rd round was great.

WHAT!!! WHAT!!! BJ FUCKING PENN BABY!!!!!! EVERYONE KNOW I WOULD COME IN HERE AND BEING ALL EXCITED!!! THAT WAS AMAZING!! NOUGH SAID!!

- On that note he gets boring Fitch at UFC 127.. U going to give BJ another wrestler with no stand up game.. GOODNIGHT FITCH!!! I finally think BJ found the best camp for him.. He finally has a camp and trainers that are pushing him but also reminding him who he is.. Instead of having a camp that treats him like god and make him feel like no should fight him!

- Rampage won that fight, Machida;s running away style isnt winning him anymore fights.. He is going to get eaten up by anyone who attacks him at all times.. If he did what he did in the last round the first 2 rounds he would have won.. Be he just did circles the whole time..

- Lauzon gassed at the end of the first, right then i knew he was done.. Good job for george, his ground game is very good.. Phil Davis looked great tonight too..

Also in Detroit Jose Aldo was awarded his NEW UFC Featherweight Belt!!!

MAIN CARD
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Lyoto Machida - I'm going to go with my heart, let's go Rampage. But I see Lyoto wins this fight by precise striking eventually with the unanimous decision.
Matt Hughes vs. B.J. Penn --- One last time BJ. Matt has been on tear lately, but stylistically BJJ figher < wrestler and BJ has better hands too.

You mean you're rooting for rampage but you see Machida winning? Lol you could phrase yourself better.
And you just contradicted yourself, if BJJ fighter(BJ Penn) < Wrestler than wouldn't you say BJ would lose? If not, then you would use a "but" BJ has better hands.

In other news,
Lyoto needs to stop doing the kalib starnes.

^okay thanks.. but...

*im joking. But i meant to say BJJ fighter > Wrestlers and BJ has better hands than Matt. And next time, I'll just pick the winner and explain why I think he'd win, instead of explaining both sides of the fighters.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDIQBy70vlc
+Rampage did win imo by 29-28 [Machida only won 3rd round]. I was soooo fucking pumped up when i heard Quinton's walk-in music. PRIDE BABY FUCK YEAH.
Machida is too hesitant, he needs to just believe in himself and let his skills to flow with bad intentions. But i understand this was his 1st fight after he got KTFOed.

+George and BJ were very impressive last night.
George's grappling style is so fucking awesome n offensive.
I wouldnt be 100 percent sure on BJ being number 1 again until i see him fighting in 3rd round. Yep, that cardio.

+Rick Story submitted Matt Brown and it was really entertaining bout.

+Phil needs more stand up. The hammerlock reminded me of Aoki's hammerlock that he broke Hirota's arm on NYE

+Karo got cut by UFC again... lol

Pretty good fights imo.. anybody else think that guy Barboza looked damn good with those leg kicks?!? He fought after the main event and fuckin DESTROYED that dude Lullo, ala Aldo v Faber style. I'm hoping to see him a bit more and really get a feel for his talents against better opponents before I jump on the Barboza train.

Where the hell was "that" BJ against Edgar those two other times - dammit.... Edgar wouldve had NO CHANCE if BJ was that pumped and fired up!

Exactly. Once Machida went on the offensive, he owned Rampage. But you can't win fights by running away for 2 rounds. Machida disappointed me because he has what it takes, but he's still too gunshy.

That BJ was just too slow to land those kind of shots on Edgar. The BJ that needs to fight Edgar is the BJJ blackbelt, not the boxer.

But yeah, Barbosa's a great addition to his weight class. I can't wait to see more from him. Also, don't sleep on Falcao. He's another brazilian total package. Crisp striking, strong td defense and good ground. Plus, he's from Chute Boxe. That's always a plus. cool
