Just got home from some fights in Stockton. My teammate won in 34 seconds of the first round by guillotine. That's Gil and the black dude is the one who got sub of the night in the last UFC. His name is Daniel Roberts and he's a beast.

*YAWN*

Good thing Manny revived me from falling asleep! Was watching Nate vs. Okami and thought it was to be for the number 1 contender spot but that shit was boring!! Sorry neither should even get a title shot, Okami will get KO'd by Silva and Belfort! Its not even going to be a fight!

- Siver with a beautiful RBC though!!

MANNY FUCKING PACQUIAO!!! Proved he is the greatest!!

Okami doesn't win pretty, but he wins nonetheless. Definitely a fight built for a free card, though.

The next PPV should be very good.

It puts another notch in his belt by beating margarita at 150 pounds.. Margarito out weighed him by 20 pounds, had 5 inches on him and had a 6.5 inch reach advantage.. Manny proved he can move up to fight a great fighter and absolutely annihilate you with his speed and angle work! He has beaten every great boxer that is around his weight! He holds 8 titles in 6 different weight classes! That's how he is the greatest and tonight he proved it by how badly he beat margarito!

Lyoto Machida - We're gonna see a replay of Machida/Rashad. Also, Rampage didn't train up in big bear. He still looks a bit soft. I'm thinking he's still out of prime shape. He's going to be slow and sluggish. Machida's gonna get the decision but I can see him stunning Rampage a few times on the way to that dec.

BJ Penn: Ugh. If BJ looks gassed in the 2nd round I'm going to stop being a fan. Real talk. I'm tired of him getting my hopes up only to do something stupid. He should still be champ. Too bad he forgot that he's a BJJ black belt until the 5th round when he was too tired to employ that gameplan. Listen, if BJ goes in there with a full gas tank, and remembers that he's not a boxer, then BJ will win this fight via RNC again. Everything in me is telling me that BJ's gonna let me down again. Hughes is bigger. Stronger. Hughes knows BJ's tricks already. But I'm gonna believe in him one more time. If he lets me down, I'm done.

George Sotiropoulos - 10th planet FTW! George is just better. Lauzon only has the reach advantage. If George saggy tits sotiropoulos (as my boy affectionately calls him) can get around the reach, his ground game's gonna eat joe's ground game. Decision for George.

Phil Davis - not a fight i really care about either
Gerald Harris - Decision

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)
Matt Brown - Matt with a huge KO
Mark Munoz - Munoz with his wrestling

PRELIMINARY CARD (un-aired)
Karo Parisyan
Edson Barboza
Paul Kelly
Tyson Griffin

Agree and Disagree... BJ is a boxer, thats where he started before he started BJJ.. The only problem is he gets caught up with it.. Like u said he has to remember he is a black belt in BJJ and stick to that gameplan.. With Frankie edgar, edgar was a better boxer, so BJ should have switched it up and took it to the ground.. But if he has someone who has no stand up, like Matt Hughes, he can use his boxing effectively.. Same way he did against Sherk and Sanchez.. I also cant blame it all on BJ, he had a corner that was all about trying to KO someone and not win the fight.. All u here in that corner is "he doesnt belong in here with u" and all that nonsense.. All they had to say in the edgar fight was "take him to the ground, he is out boxing you" BJ would have went for more takedowns early and prolly got the submission.. BUT he has a new camp and new trainers, lets see how they work...

Agree to disagree on the boxing. Was he a pro boxer before GJJ? No. He's an MMA fighter who has good boxing. But he's not a boxer. And I would also say that Frankie isn't a better boxer. Just a faster/busier boxer. BJ is an idiot. Sure his corner's telling him nonsense, but he's his own man. He shoulda realized, "wait, I can't touch this guy" after at LEAST the 2nd round, and then gone for the submission.

I do agree that his boxing will be a factor against Matt though. But Hughes will just take him down. What BJ needs to do is remember that he's a BB in GJJ, not a pro boxer, and he needs to utilize his Boxing to keep Hughes wary of the shot, and use his JJ against the inferior grappler. That's IF his gas tank can handle it. He was winning his rematch with Hughes til he ran out of gas. That's the only reason I'm going for him to win this time. I'm hoping he learned from his mistakes in the past and beats Hughes decicively.

you know, I liked Karo for a while. Dude's judo was beast. He needs to do more of that. He'll never be champ, but at least he can give us some good fights to watch.

+Nate was such a let down jeez. Never went 100 percent for once in the fight against Okami.

+WEC is so much more exciting than this B- quality UFC event on Germany. In fact, I felt bad for European fans for this event.

+Denis Siver and Rocha [German-Brazillian] were very impressive with their RNC n kneebar. hell yeah

+I heard BJ's weight atm is about 168.5 lbs and said he doesnt need any extra weight to perform... hmmm BJ, we'll see about that.

+i wouldnt be excited about Karo being back JUST YET. He still deals with the anxiety issue.

^ Nah BJ weighed himself today on his blog before the press conference on the UFC weigh in scale.. He made it up to 170 and it almost sounded like he wanted to gain an extra pound! hahaha BUt he looked in shape at 170, he did alot of cardio and sparring during this camp.. Hopefully, he did enough! He needs to get back on track!

no Brookins is the albino lookin kid who sounds like nate diaz. LOL. Kid's ground is pretty slick though. I can see him winning the finals too.

And in case you guys didn't know, Brookins has been in the WEC before. He fought Aldo. And by fought I mean he got his ass whooped.

lol Jonathan brookins isn't albino, kid is a beast though. He's smarter than most guys in mma. He's just a great guy.

He got his ass whooped but took aldo to three rounds which is impressive. He definitely did better than most guys that fight aldo.

Stoked for tomorrow's fight, Penn and Hughes are two of my favorites of all time and I don't think I can choose a fighter, but I say Penn in shape > hughes.

MAIN CARD
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Lyoto Machida - I'm going to go with my heart, let's go Rampage. But I see Lyoto wins this fight by precise striking eventually with the unanimous decision.
Matt Hughes vs. B.J. Penn --- One last time BJ. Matt has been on tear lately, but stylistically BJJ figher < wrestler and BJ has better hands too.
Joe Lauzon vs. George --- George has a better striking. Both are on the same level of grappling imo
Tim Boetsch vs. Phil Davis
Maiquel Falcao vs. Gerald Harris

PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)
Matt Brown vs. Brian Foster - Both of 'em are so exciting. Brian is a beast. Honestly I'm 50/50 on this one
Mark Munoz vs. Aaron Simpson - I like both of these fighters, Aaron seems more well-rounded

PRELIMINARY CARD (un-aired)
Dennis Hallman vs. Karo Parisyan - first fihgt back with the UFC, think he will win
Edson Barboza vs. Mike Lullo
Paul Kelly vs. T.J. O'Brien --- Paul is a beast
Nik Lentz vs. Tyson Griffin

+I completely forgot about the fact that Johnson fought Jose Aldo before. I swore I thought he was albino.Anyways it's Johnson vs. Nam Phan

why does rampage look so mad at that nig for?

Because Lyoto lightly touched Quinton's chin when they're posing right after the weight in.
