^^ def. agree how else does Mir get an immediate title shot after barely beating a guy like Lesnar? and I'm one of the biggest Mir fans around. Dana seriously got to start opening the bank a little and get some real heavyweights to give Nog a challenge.

it certainly is the biggest matchup for the feather weight! Urijah is good no doubt about it. i mean he's a champ and he trained with BJ for this fight, but im going to root for LIL EVIL! he's skinny but certainly has a KO power

oh yeah Ben Rothwell vs Andrei Arlovski match has confirmed for the Affliction BANNED
this event will solve many unsolved questions among the heavyweights! on the side note, UFC's heavyweight is officially CRAP! expect Minotauro

That card is looking sick. Haven't seen a card with quality HWs in a long time. Fedor, Silvia, Barnett, Aleksander and Arlovski? UFCs HW roster looks like trash compared to that.

Did anyone watch EliteXC on CBS? What a piece of shit. So many retarded decisions/stopped fights. Kimbo got exposed during this event though. He can't do anything on the ground, not that any of us thought differently. If he faced a good BJJ artist he'd get subbed real quick. James Thompson did pretty good, considering hes been knocked out in the first round for like half of his fights. I'm suprised he took so many solid hits and was able to win the first two rounds.

EDIT: No one wrote about 84? That was a good event man. Wanderlei vs Jardine was great. BJ vs Sherk went as predicted. Lyoto is good but I don't know man. I've never liked fighters that try to win with points.

Damn I was hoping Kimbo would lose that fight. Tired of all this Kimbo nut hugging going around. At least he was finally exposed as a fighter. Thompson had a chance to end the fight at the end of the 2nd but had absolutely no power behind those shots.

The Lawler vs Smith fight was a good fight. No idea why the crowd was booing most of the time. Disappointed that the doctor didn't give Smith time to recover.

Haven't payed any attention to women's MMA, but every Carrano fight I see is an entertaining one.

As for UFC 84, all I got to say is WANDERLEI SILVA IS BACK MFERS!!!!

lol fuck gary shaw

i never thought i would actually say this but..

Dana White > that fat prick

lol at Garry Shaw saying he would pay both Lawler and Smith their winning bonuses, but no one is a bigger douche than Dana.

Wordd. Lawler vs Smith was great. Calling the fight for a finger in the eye was bullshit though. Carrano was a beast in there too. I was surprised. She got skills.

there were 2 good fights, but i'm never watching another EliteXC show in my life. that Kimbo fight pissed me off to no end. that ref was obviously favoring Kimbo. how can you stand them up when Thompson is in a dominant position in side control and locked up one of Kimbo's arms with his knees? Kimbo was trapped against the cage for what seemed like an eternity and was being hit with punches and elbows. they weren't too strong, but Kimbo couldn't block any of them. ref could've stopped the fight there. stopping the fight in the 3rd was total bs. Thopson was hurt, but definitely wasn't out. Thompson should've laid that damn ref out instead of just pushing him away. i guess that's what happens when you forcibly build up a star instead of having performance dictate the star.

Wtf was wrong with Thompson's ear? It was fucked up even before entering the ring. I knew the ear would make him lose even before the fight began. But I must say I found it quite amazing when Gus Johnson (not sure if it's his name, commentator) said something like "He just popped his ear!"

worst case of cauliflower ear i have ever seen in my life. his trainers or a doc should have drained that shit.

is that what its called ? jeez that shit looked like some balloon growing out of his ear , im disapointed in Kimbo tho missing punches and getting worn out very easy , he most deff has to get that ground fighting up to an A+ before he ever gets another match , cause the other dude would have won if it wasnt for that big ass human pouch growing out of his ear ..

WEC delivered last night man. I stayed up til 6am for that and I wasn't dissapointed. Torres-Maeda was a war, it's a shame Maeda's eye closed shut because there was potentially another two great rounds left.

faber trained with bj for his Pulver fight so i dont think that's going to happen. BUT KID could definitely destroy him! on the ground or stand up... i dont think he could even take Kid to the ground!

that would be a dream match for the featherweight!

Yea Kid Yamamoto's a beast. Hes better standing and hes a better wrestler also.

CONFIRMED: Kid is fighting Joseph Benavidez (Faber's training partner, undefeated but not well known) at DREAM 5. Faber will prob be in the corner for Benavidez. So if Kid wins and they call eachother out, I think we might be seeing Kid vs Faber in the future.

oh shit that would be INTERESTING STORY LINE! if it comes to true! DREAM 4 Alistar Overeem will fight Tae Hyun Lee who only had 2 professional MMA bouts and was former Korean sumo (ssirum) champion. Choi Hong Man was also former ssirum champ before he turned to kickboxer

suppose Crocop is fighting against Ralek Gracie in the grappling match. Son of Rorian Gracie i believe. this would be very interesting from my perspective. seeing one of the best kickboxer grappling with one of the best grapplers! also Gracie family is still important in Japan so it wont be bad for Crocop either. oh yes this is suppose to be DREAM 4

i find in big UFC title fights everyone fights the same way. and every ufc i hear more and more, "they are really less agressive"

i enjoy seeing different less uniform fighting styles

UFC 85, Thiago's flying knee was great! he timed Matt's tackle almost perfect, but Thiago needs to make a WEIGHT.
Eddie Sanchez is fuckin Warrior, but UFC heavyweight is still crap
GOD i hate that fuckin ref in the Vera vs Werdum. he's the same fucker in the Kimbo vs Thomson fight
Michael Bisping was impressive! no hate against TUF winner on that day
i cant believe Marcus lost... on the other hand, Swick looked good in middleweight

DREAM 4, without a doubt Miller vs Jacared match was the best of all. i was hoping Miller would give him a lesson or two to the MMA newcomer.
Yoon has finally lost...i wished he wouldve striked more to the head n stomach during the struggle over armbar.
Alistar destroyed Lee. it was under 1 minute i believe. we didnt get chance to test Alistar's stamina. oh apparently he wants to fight against crocop soon
Kin's reaction after his arm broken in half... BITTER SMILE. he's been unlucky in previous fights too. this tells me a thing or two about the Kyokushin karateka... pain is the part of the game
Aoki pulled mounted gogoplata as usual.
i felt bad for Sakuraba... didnt even get a chance to redeem himself from Melvin's relentless strike after another. perfect timing for the head kick too.
Ralek Gracie... perfect on the ground but not so much on the feet. what's up with Gracie and gay front kick (Rickson n Royce). needs to step up n learn how to strike

*DREAM 5 will most likely featuring Crocop vs Lebanner. if the match between Lebanner vs Semmy goes well. for the lightweight GP, Uno vs Kwajiri and Aoki vs Eddie

there will be another free UFC fights on Spike tv on July 19th, has anyone realizes the siginificant on this date? yep the best card of the year AFFLICTION BANNED will be airing in that exact same day. i like this competion between them and the fact that Dana had to swallow and show free fights in order to secure MMA=UFC image.

... i spent too much time on MMA. oh well it's my favorite sport!!!

Matches for UFC July 19th

Anderson Silva vs James Irvin at 205, yes it's Silva's light heavyweight debut!! this match has nothing to do with Middleweight title

Brandon Vera vs Reese Andy, Vera's light heavyweight debut and if he wins, he'll stay in 205

Anderson Silva made me go "oh shit!" but im stickin with Fedor and Josh barnett

oh for those who didnt know. all the undercard fights of the Affliction Banned will be air for free on Fox Sports Net! unlike UFC made us pay watch undercard fights for the same event that we pay $40 for the PPV

also UFC's big annoucenment was Fertitta resigning as a casino CEO then decided to focus on UFC for 100% and UFC global expansion plan that includes Philliphine, Germany, Italy, Russia, Korea, France, Spain, China, Japan and more!!! Interestingly they also targetted India. Fertitta said "Think about this for a second: India has 350 million men between the ages of 18 and 34, and that’s our key demographic.”

i give huge props for Dana and UFC for literally takin MMA to the NEXT LEVEL! i still hate Dana personally though lol.

just watched Elite XC Return of the King

what the fuck is wrong with Diaz brothers? especially Nate Diaz throwing middle finger to KJ Noons dad... like does that help his brother to get his shot for the belt?

they are humiliating the MMA as a legitimate sport... i hope his ass get beaten
