I really don't think the loss was that bad, I mean the result was pretty simple. When the spurs closed on Lebron he dished out and the cav shooters missed. When TP and Ginobli drove the cavs closed, but the spurs shooters made open shots.

I didn't believe that the Cavs would be that intimidated, but if you look at how confused and scared the Cavs defense was, you def could say I was wrong. All in all though, besides the 3rd quarter the Cavs played very decent. If they can figure out how to keep it close in the 3rd then they win. I mean the Spurs played a REALLY good game on both sides of the ball, the Cavs played really good D for 3 quarters and good offense for about a quarter and a half and lost by 9. 9 is a pretty decent sized margin, but if you actually watch the game you woulda thought the Spurs were gonna win by 20.

It was really an ass kicking. If you watched the game from the begining no matter how close the cavs kept it, Lebron never got lose and Spurs never lost thier cool. While the Spurs didnt win by 20, they might as well have. The score was deceptive cuz the cavs score a flury of points in the final mins with no real chance to win.

Listen, I like Lebron just as much as anyone and theres still an off chance that Cavs might win a few games but lets be realistic here...I watched the Spurs last night and was impressed. i dont like them as a team but i respect the shit outa them...they always have good ball rotation, they have weapons all over the court. Alot of people, including me, pegged the Cavs because of emotion after the last series but one man can only do so much.

gibson should def. get more PT & fuckin' marshall should even fuckin touch the ball anymore...and def. not throw up garage shots from behind the arc!

everyone thought the cavs were done after they lost the 1st two games to detroit at the palace & who's in the finals?

wait for the cavs to settle down and get into a better shooting rhythm, they looked nervous as fuck last night...if they can win game 2 or even if they don't, i wouldn't count them out so fast.

but the cavs need someone from the bench to step up if they really want to win...i got money on boobie! haha...

Spurs have too much of a good transition defense and one of the best ball rotation defense. Which eliminates Lebrons from driving and scoring. Not completely but he can't shoot jumpshots all game.

And there's too much "work" for there center. If you saw they had to worry about Duncan but since Spurs have a good passing game it just opens up the 3-point line as you saw Bowen was on fire.

Its gonna be a sweep guys. Cavs may win one game at home but thats gonna be it. Cavs fans...just tip your hat to a great team and realize it was to tall of a mountain to climb, and it was amazing what Lebron was able to do with such a mediocre team, bringing them to the bigest stage in sports. but, at the end of the day even if its your favorite team/player u gotta be realistic. I mean I manned up and did the same thing about the Pistons lol.

Agree but the mountain was more of a hill. The east down-right sucked this year and if my boy Gilbert wasn't injured it would be a different story.. smile Same could be said with Wade, but still props to Lebron not taking anything away from him.

Well thats it for the Cavs....I was hoping they win tonight to stay ailve but that didnt happen lol....Props to Lebron for taking an average team to the playoffs though but like everyone said the Spurs were too much. At least Lebron has his youth and he will probably win a majority of his titles once alot of dominant players retire. (Insert smiley waving white flag here) lol

Wow 2 points from the worst combined point total in finals history...what a game sad

That is basically as shitty as the Spurs will play...Cleveland has to feel like they let that slip away.

That said, I bet that they would get swept...so I am happy smile

Lebron wont win a title for another 2-3 years but watch when Duncan, T-Mac, Shaq, and Iverson are done. Who will Lebron have trouble with? Kobe and the Lakers are no match for the Cavs, Heat w/o Shaq = no bigman, Rockets will have no scorer, and the Spurs are nothing w/o Duncan. Lebron will shine in 2-3 years. cool
