yo, if anyone skates hook me up on info for a good setup, havent skated in 5 years and i just wanna know what's hot these days, and what to pick up cause i wanna start skating in the spring.. or whenever the snow melts again

-formation deck, company my friend owns, best shapes i've ever ridden www.formationskateboards.com
-thunders, best trucks, bushings are so nice, almost no break in period
-flip sidecut wheels, they're pretty nice, iono, i used to ride rictas all the time then the shop near me stopped carrying 'em
-red bearings, cheap and fast

It all really depends on personall preference and how you like the shape of ur board such as concave , length , witdth etc. Just go to a skateshop and stand on some boards and whatever feels the best is what you should go with.

exactly. it also depends on your shoe size. im a 9, so i get a 7.5 x 31.25. just enough for my toe to hang over and land heelflips easily.

active has/had some blank logo decks on sale for 20 a pop that i heard were great. i try not to pay a lot for a deck, just because mine always get run over sad

Lmao ran over haha. Your local skateshop will probably have some blanks of there own for cheap that usually turn out pretty nice , especially just as a first deck ( or starting back up in ur case ).

deck: perfer krooked, but will ride local cheaper boards. 8x32
trucks: indys.
wheels: spitfire 55s
bearings: bones swiss.
