Because other teams passed on Rivers for players with high bust potential like Dion Waiters, and now, they have to deal with the fact that he's probably gonna ball the fuck out in NO and make them look stupid.

If you don't become a star within the first two seasons then it's gonna be tough unless you have a breakout year somewhere down in your career. Just look at Lin. His ass is gonna be forgotten if he stays with the Knicks now that they've acquired Kidd.
