No, it was decided based on head to head results. If it was any other competition it would have been decided based on goal difference. Basically, they went through because they won the match.

It's hard to say that the dutch were in the WC finals 2 years ago and now they are leaving the euro 2012 w/o a win.

Spain needs to crush Croatia. And for Torres, I think he's doing really well. He still misses chances but his runs are exceptional. I think they should continue to play him the first 70 minutes or so.
