I guess its really a personal preference, what position you play and how much you're willing to drop.

Guards - Kobes, KD's, Hyperdunk/fuse lows (low-mid top)
Forwards/Centers - Lebrons, Hyperdunks, Hyperfuses, M8's (high cut more supportive)

Like i know people who are guards who like high cut shoes but play up top, but i guess with lower cut shoes you get more flexibility and movement without the extra ankle support.

I wear the Hyperdunk 2010's because i don't really need new indoors yet and they're holding up pretty well but compared to other shoes the 2010 isn't the best because of the lack of breathability and the build isn't too good on some but mine are fine.

Go check out Nightwing2303 on youtube, he's got reviews on pretty much any shoe on the market today.

i've been stuck on my two pairs of kobe iv's for that last couple years. they're the hands down best shoes for indoor basketball i've ever had (and i've had a ton). i also got the kobe v's but they weren't as sturdy. The material was too thin to protect my feet, especially around the toebox area and i ended up with those bruised toenails a few times after playing a couple games.

I guess the most important things im looking for in a basketball shoe is:

-lightweight(trying to move as quick as possible)

-traction(able to keep a good grip on the floor and make quick stops without sliding)

-price (not trying to spend more that $110)

p.s. anyone know where i can still find a decent pair of kobe 4's these days?..besides ebay.

This means that the shoes should feel snug on the feet yet not so tight as to be restrictive and uncomfortable in any way. Make sure always to ask your child for his or her opinion on how the ballet shoes feel. The most important thing is how the ballet student feels when wearing a particular pair of dance shoes.
