5k every week night. Gonna try to get it up to 5mi soon. Not counting sprints and shorter jogs at the gym. Kind of demotivated because my Nike+ chip went out and I can no longer show off on Facebook when I go crazy and get like 9mi at a single time.

been doing my schedule for running
7 miles 3x a week
9 miles 2x a week and
13 miles for a long run
been working on running another half marathon, i was motivated initially to run them but now it seems really boring
I was much more motivated when i was running 5k's, but i know for a fact that im better at long distances -_-

ice them after you run. it could be something to do with your form. try staying on the balls of your feet. that way the shock goes up your calf instead of going straight to your knee.

Was doing 5km every day but I stopped for 2 weeks cos I got really sick, now I'm working back up to 5km (~3.5-4km atm) Doing it on the elliptical at the gym now cos where I used to run, there are way too many bugs atm cos of spring/summer and I'd always end up getting a bug in my mouth n it's annoyin as fuck

I do 6k's once a week slowed down from 2-3 times a week because of my knee. Now its all good but these days I don't have the time to do it anymore because of work and playing ball.

Temperature is usually like 20-35 degrees here. Motivate yourself by having a ideal body build, super toned or slim etc and use that in comparison to yourself, or just eat a lot and use running to say, alright lets burn this shit off lol.

By the way what runners is everyone wearing?

Generally you should be running non-stop. If you can't run the full mileage non-stop you shouldn't/not in shape to do so and you need to build up to that distance. Pace is dependent on each individual and what you are trying to achieve from running. I used to run cross country and track in hs and would run about 70+ miles a week, but this was also the peak of my fitness. No alcohol what so ever during season, and had a very strict diet. I would generally run a long run on monday, 10+ miles. Tuesday would do a lighter 6-7 mile run. Wed we would do 20-30 min arm up run supplemented with multiple short interval but faster paced workouts. Thurs, Friday 6-8 mile run. These workouts were all done after school and I would actually supplement everyday with a workout of my own before school. Wake up like 5 am and go on a 30-40 min run. For myself I aimed at running a pace about 45-60 sec slower per mile than actual race day pace I wanted to acheive (3 mile races in hs). Obviously if you're aiming to run marathon or races of longer distance this will greatly vary, but if youre doing this just to get fit, increase either mileage/pace as you progress and become more and more comfortable with your workouts.

Good man, and I got them cheap too cause they were from a outlet. More comfortable then my Adidas Supernova's but those have more ankle support then the Lunarglides. Overall good shoe though. Anyone tried running in Flyknits?

I run around 4-5mil 6x a week.
7-8 months ago I barely ran 2miles 2x a week
Perhaps this amount is putting a impact on my legs?
I'm running through(non-stop) the pain though. Bad idea?
