Tournament kicks off July 1st. For those who don't know Costa Rica will replace Japan in the tournament.

Actually, its a slap to the face to Conmebol by Mexico.

Hopefully one day they decide to merge the gold cup and copa america.

The CONCACAF only allowed Mexico to take part of the tournament with an u-22 squad. They wanted Mexico to focus more on the Gold Cup.

I'm obv. ignorant as FUCK for asking that.

Mexico has priorities. To qualify for Confederations and get exposure on Mexican football.

My dad always suggests to merge North, Central, and South American in 1 region. That would be awesome

Some bad decisions on the starting XI from the Argentina side, Colombia can't finish either,
Entertaining game tho.

imo di maria would have done damage in this game, you can tell messi isn't synchronized with any of his teammates it's hard to watch him try to do one twos and they just lose the ball or never read his next move

Yep.. its like that with Ronaldo too, except I cant really think of who or why he does so much better at the club level w/Madrid?!

Thats been the only knock on Messi, he cant get it done on the international level, he still ALMOST surpasses Maradona.

The only difference is Maradona was amazing at the international level..

And then left Barcelona to go to a up and coming Napoli squad to give them their first European Title.

Sorry, but I wouldn't even put almost. He's an amazing player, but he has trouble playing out of his comfort zone..

And to be considered one of the greatest of all time, you need to break that comfort zone.

On Topic:

I honestly feel Argentina have been lucky to even come out with 2 draws. There have been a more than a couple opportunities for both Bolivia and Colombia to shut them down completely. Now it's up to a Costa Rica draw, or win! I hope they pull it off..

On Brazil:

Shite..I've never been so angry to watch our national team play. Too much hair cuts and showing off, and not enough football.

Our current Manager isn't going to be around much longer, if we keep having to tolerate this. We haven't shown up against one good nation in international friendlies. Loss to Argentina, loss to France, bore of a tie game to Holland (Who didn't have most of their top players, and still dominated).

Brazil have beenbsuch a disappointment in the years Copayment. I honestly expected more. Seems like Dunga got it right. It might not have been pretty but he did pic the right squads that could pullba win out if needed. This new team just doesn't have the heart.

People complained about Dunga's attitude really, and cried and cried about taking Neymar and Ganso to the World Cup. I'm glad he was stubborn enough to say no, and stick to his squad because clearly it would have been a waste. The only player playing with any passion and heart against Paraguay was Lucio and you'll always expect that from him no matter what. It's funny that people nowadays believe 28-33 is old, I would much rather have had a 37 y/o Roberto Carlos at left back then Andre Santos..

I honestly don't see this new manager staying after the Copa America, the CBF is known to sack managers right after a major tournament where a result isn't met. Besides, he already lied to the Brazilian people about not choosing Marcelo for left back.

No one knows whether or not it's the truth, but he claims that..

Marcelo told the CBF that he was injured, and they released him back to RM. So Mano Menezes claims that he received an email from Marcelo saying "It's all taken care of, I got released" that was supposed to go to RM..

So apparently Marcelo or his agent, when typing out an email to RM accidentally put Mano's email instead? Cmon now..

Even though both power giants are out, it still will be a good tournament.

I'm still rooting for Uruguay to win the copa america.

We(Mexicans) still have a score to settle(2010 WC). >sad

This!
Also, the fact that estos hijos de putas don't play for their country. European soccer has spoiled them.
Also, the fact that they can't play like a team yet.
Also, Batista is a dumbass.

Palermo for the next coach! Fuck that lmao.
P.S. Uruguay got lucky in my opinion their golie tiene un culo. Hijo de puta smh.
