is it possible to lose some mass while play basketball?


I've been working out for about 4 months now and I finally feel like I'm putting on some mass. But 2 days ago i played bball for 3 hrs straight and after I feel as though I shrunk a bit. I'm just wonderin if this is actually possible? or am i going crazy?

yea...

by doing any cardio your buring calories which is the major factor in weight loss

That feeling is just tight muscles. You wouldn't lose muscle mass from playing basketball. You'd lose fat. This is of course assuming you're properly hydrated and nurished.

mass is not neccesarily muscle.. mass just refers to the bulky look.
