our previous (and present) games with the cavs this season show exactly why we're not an elite NBA team yet. there's been a few surprising games against teams like the bulls, heat, and spurs, but we're not winning the games we SHOULD be winning because our offense is inconsistent and our defense is nonexistent. we get killed on the boards every night and it's fucking embarassing. sure we need some time to mesh as a team with all the new additions but we also just straight up need more hustle on defense

Carmelo is really starting to prove he has evolved as a player in his last couple of games he has had at least 6+ assist and at least 3+ to Amare. This is quite a surprise because I was pretty concerned with his isolations and deferring from his team but he has been a willing passer. Also that shot versus Memphis shows why you trade for a Star no matter what.

It'll be fine, although I almost lost my fucking mind at the bar when they played the Celts.. Knicks gotta get some true role players, and Amare's gotta realize it isn't his bench that isn't getting it done. 4th quarter that's you and Melo gotta take over. I'm just thankful they're going to make the playoffs cause anything can happen in the playoffs, and it's been way too long. On a side note with the recent strugglez I think it's proven we need a center in the form of Dwight Howard ever before a CP3 or D-Will. Defense is key, and Dwight Howard is rare. PG's come and go a lot

Good thing this is business, and all these fucking guys say "i wanna be here my whole career" "I would never this or that" Honestly any player will turn if They can play with their friends, Win a title, and or get max money elsewhere. Shame Game.. Dwight Howard resigns with Orlando I'll give him mad props! But he'd be crazy to do it. I see him signing with the Knicks, or one of the L.A teams. Although if you're a black athlete you'd be stupid to play for Donald Sterlings old crazy racist ass! IMO though so who knows. And D Styles D-Will will be gone anyway don't nobody wanna play for the lonely ass Nets! Even if he stays You have a good center in Lopez who can develop over time. You'd be better off with a good 2 or 3 to add to that sorry group of players. Anyway i look at the Knicks are getting that title one day soon!

i think it's silly to speculate on where players are gonna end up in a year or two, at the end of the day, no one really knows. instead you gotta focus on short term solutions to our problems. i really think we need to, at least, bring in a defensive minded assistant coach as well as a real center (Tyson Chandler, who is a free agent after this season, would be an excellent choice), then grab a few small role players for the bench and we'll be actual contenders for 11-12.

to think many knicks fans thought we could go deep into the playoffs with 2 great offensive forwards, an aging pg, a rookie sg, and no real center to speak of just shows how delusional people can be.

I feel you, but Chandler goes nowhere Cuban will throw some coin. I'd really like to see Marc Gasol in a Knicks uni he plays well, and has the youth factor, but I'm sure Memphis will match. Landry is gonna be something special with time. I don't think the Knicks are doing anything for 2-3 years They have a lot of building to do.. However chauncey is aging, but he's still a really good PG it's just a new system he hasn't learned it any better than Melo. Honestly I love the having melo, and it'll work out, but I wish the Knicks hadn't gave up so much. D'antoni is cool, but I really don't like his style can't win titles trying to outscore teams in the East. I love whatg the Bulls did with their Coach Tom T. Just wish there was an option as such for the Knicks, but getting all these guys to buy into Defensive minded ball will be hard..

Respect the argument, but there's Disney in southern L.A as well my man so, and Max money as can work in sign and trade deals I'm just saying there's ways. I would love to see him with the Knicks it's a pipe dream, but i also will tip my hat if he stays in Orlando i'm just saying they have options so don't ever assume they're loyal... Also a huge arena doesn't mean shit if you aren't winning titles, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have a hard time getting the ball anywhere he goes.. On the real van Gundy fucking annoys me, and he should back his star player it's what coaches do unless you Phil Jackson then you can just talk as much shit as you want like the old timer with amnesia..

i dont think anyone's (top tier teams) gonna change the system just to get dwight. let's say the knicks do get dwight, amare will just clog the lane for dwight, so what's the point? there's a reason why the magic shoot so many threes, it's to let dwight have as many space to work in the paint. imo, he'd be a fool to leave. i'd rather just be the person to tell ♥♥♥♥♥s to go down in orlando. (no taxes, play in a new arena, etc etc) also, when i meant disney, i didnt just mean disneyworld only, he's getting paid to do songs for kids, go on the shows, and all that
