i heard about it, kindof a good idea but a bit of a gamble

regardless, he'd only be part of a package where we'd have to ship out at least one more solid player along with curry and a 1st rounder

who would you see go over gallo? chandler or fields? yeah right

Let's say Knicks get Melo.. You give up Chandler in the deal, and not Landry.. So proposed you would rid yourself of Randolph, Curry, Chandler. I then see a pressing need for D for the Knicks. I'm not going to get CP3 first. I'm going hard at Dwight Howard he provides all the D you need plus he would come to a team with 2 legitmate all stars, and wouldn't have the pressure of carrying a franchise on his back. Correct? So your starting 5 would then be 1. Felton 2. Field 3. Melo 4. Amare. 5. Howard, and you'd still get Danno, and Mosgov coming off the bench with size. That's a true title Contender. Of course this is all a pipe dream! But I'm just glad to see the Knicks at least be competitive for the first time in years! I might finally be able to let go off the 90's and early 00's

Nice win man, Toney Douglas was playin with some fire tonight boy. Carmelo didn't shoot to well but he still dub-dubbed with 27 points and 10 boards and Billups is a grade A pg. I'm liking this new squad.

toney was incredible tonight. melo slowed our offense down quite a bit but i'm hoping he'll get used to d'antoni's fast paced offense within the next few weeks. he definitely needs to cut back on attempts and pass the ball more. billups surprised me though, he definitely did a good job of leading the court and distributing and he was a big help from the line

oh and amar'e throwing his glasses was completely uncalled for. dude needs to grow up

Yea, not to many talk about him in the deal but Billups>Felton. Hes a vet with a title and playoff experience who still can shoot it. Knicks looking good. All they need is a decent center now. Someone like Javale Mcgee who can block shots.

he is at 15.9 and 9.3 this season so not bad. his stats were inflated in ny because of the lack of talent there.
