good tread, I forgot the season started. As much as I hate to say it, DUKE has the best team. After that I'd say Michigan State. As usual, I expect Kentucky and UNC to be good.

I dont know about Duke this year believe it or not Zoubek was a big factor. He gave them the size/strength/rebounding they have been missing. This year they have the 6'10 Plumlee bros but both are on the skinny side and rather shoot jumpers than mix it up in the paint(Josh McRoberts)
It will all fall on Singler,Smith, and Irving if they want to make it back to the Finals.

Im screwed on picking a team this year because Purdue had everything needed to be a championship team until Hummel hurt his knee again.

I might have to move Tennessee down even further. Losing to a division 2 school is never a good look, but at the same time Syracuse did the same thing last season and then won 24 straight

Im a big Purdue fan and they would have been my pick this year but without Hummel i just dont dont see it happening.

But i have to go with either Duke or Kansas(if Selby plays)

But i think it will be another "anybody can win" type tournament like last year in the end

Henson did work on the boards in the first game, got 10 points 17 rebounds with 7 blocks. HBarnes got 14, should improve as he eases into the style and team. Can't wait to see how Kendall Marshall and Reggie Bullock do too, Marshall/Bullock/Barnes/Henson/Zeller should be a cool starting 5.

Love this guy.

Henson worked on putting on some weight in the off-season, so I expect good things from him. Marshall went 3-3 last night.

SMH at the overrating of Harrison Barnes and UNC once again. A year and 3 McDonalds All Americans later and they still struggling to beat college of charleston?

Butler looks like they wont be having the season people thought they would after losing Gordon Hayward and Will Veasley. They lost to Evansville over the weekend.

Barnes is taking his time to adapt to college hoops, I have no problem with him taking his time. The team isn't being helped by Drew III taking up loads of PG minutes with his sloppy ass handles and turnover prone style. Once Marshall, Barnes and Henson adapt to playing together and Bullock is 100% we should be good. I'm expecting Barnes to have a fairly decent year and play another year to increase his stock, I think Henson will be our standout this year. Barnes is an intelligent player, if we can surround him with Hairston and McAdoo next year we should be some way towards greatness. Hairston is the #3 2 guard in the 2011 class and McAdoo is the #3 4 in that class. Barnes was the number one recruit this year. We also have the #3 2 guard this year and the #7 PG in the class. We're also in the process of recruiting Baru, the #5 center in the 2011 class. We're going to be fine for the next couple of seasons.

DUKE! Come on.. Kyrie Irving is a beast, better than anyone thought. Irving/Singler/Smith/Plumlee's & a pretty damn good bench with Curry/Dawkins/Kelly! & don't forget, Coach K!! Jeeze, I have them winning the Championship & possibly going undefeated.

I know its early but.. Next year.. AUSTIN RIVERS!! Jeeze!!!

Duke is seriously gonna fuck shit up this year.

As crazy as it sounds syracuse might be one of the worst undefeated top 10 teams ever.

Fab Melo is looking like one of the most overhyped Freshman also...he was compared to andrew bynum coming into the season and he is putting up 2ppg and 2rpg in 13 minutes of play

How in the hell are you 7ft almost 280lbs but dont grab a SINGLE REBOUND against Detroit University AND you play in a damn zone defense all game???
