young boys had some impressive players i thought costanzo, bienvenu, hoschstrasser, lulic, the other cm the african boy and even degen were pretty impressive. bienvenu showed real pass when he blew past dawson. i think they can cause spurs problems in the next leg. but if spurs dont make it it will fuck with englands coefficient which wudnt b good

I gurantee you that young boys won't be as good at White heart lane.

Man that atmosphere was intense esp coming from the samp away supporters. Bremen got mad lazy and let that pazzini goal in. Samp still has a chance at home..

a part of me was hoping it wud get worse too lol...but all i kno is if that was liverpool even the team that finished 7th last season they wudve seen off young boys. they have that european pedigree and experience which spurs lack. itll b good for england if they advance but its only gonna get harder if they get past young boys. they cud get trips to russia, ukraine and scandinavia deep into winter which r always tricky ties

Well I always knew that the mighty Dundee United were a better team than Man City.

You make a valid and strong point sir.

Seriously, Spurs simply lack experience and didn't know how to handle their adversaries. I imagine physical conditioning comes into play again.

As for those random trips to Eastern Europe, the English (I assume) are used to that type of weather anyways.

I do have to mention that after playing on grass pitches regularly playing on artificial turf, as Spurs did, is a nightmare.

That said, they can't be completely excused for their shit performance

Yup, the ball rolls so much faster and bounces way higher, hard to judge it if you're not used to it.

Well they've got more of a chance than Tottenham imo, I wouldn't be surprised if they won the FA Cup this year Arsenal.

The coach
was absolutely no reason to take Guberti off, and later Cassano. With Guberti on the pitch Samp was very dangerous but brining him off for a DM invited loads of pressure onto the back 4 and Samp were never able to get a foot hold back in the game. Che gol pazzinicool

Assou-Ekotto is really developing into a fine defender

He's gotten better over the years but needs to improve his passing sometimes.

The Suarez-El hamdoui combo suceeded again. Though the defence is still a little suspect. Get another quality CM in jol!
