VDV has no pace we will see how he pans out but 8 mil is a steal.

Atleast hes good goal scoring CM. We needed that desperately but i would prefered a striker atleast.

but what does this mean for luka modric????

Either we will move Luka to LW and play VDV in the centre with Bale at LB or play a 5 man midfield with Luka and VDV in there.

Man Utd's Cleverley sent out on loan to Wigan for the 2010/11 season.

they play attacking football which is good but tom is in for a relegation battle all season.

Birmingham are legit now. So many good teams in the premier league.

I know right?I really can't predict who will go down apart from Blackpool now.Even West Brom have strengthened since their opening day thrashing.Teams like Birmingham,Wolves and Stoke are Serious business now.

I know birmingham have a some new rich asian owners so kinda makes sense with these signing. I wonder were stoke are getting all this money from even though most moves are loans.

I would honestly add both Bolton and Blackburn to that list. They have done very well in this summer transfer window. Getting Petrov was amazing for Bolton and Mame Biram Diouf and El-Hadji Diouf is looking like it's gonna be a serious partnership

They are probably better teams than all i listed apart from Birmingham City but they are an already established side.I was more talking about low tier teams coming up and raping.

I hope Diouf does well at Blackburn but I still can't see him at United in 2+ years, he's got a terrible first and it's only his positioning that saves him from being championship level imo.

Esp now were stacked in the midfield. Jenas still here we got a promising brazilian name sandro.
But im not going to be typical spurs fan and get my hopes all up i just want us to be top 4 again and atleast get out of group stages.

Spurs gettin out of the group stages just became a hell of alot more likely since Werder bought fucking Mikael Silvestre

Hey atleast the kid is young and has time to grow. Manucho was like 28 or 27 when he was bought anyways.

Lol wat? Manucho isn't even 28 right now.

And to DeWale. Yeah well you know whenever United are buying anyone the club selling always makes them pay stupid amounts.

dude its hit or miss on these young stars, you can never know what a player talent ceiling is like, nani, valencia, ronaldo, fletcher, patrice evra, all turned out to be great players, but for everyone of those guys u have a manucho, oberton, kleberson, and so on...

I thought the jury was still out on Obertan. He's got what it takes to be a great player but he needs to focus and get his head together. He's gonna be a bit like Nani I feel that he has 3 or so frustrating seasons then suddenly he'll begin to put in good performances consistently. He'll be decent backup for Valencia and Nani anyhow imo.
