I think Arsenal definitely value the money over Adebeyor, i'm not even sure that he'll start ahead of Santa Cruz most of the time for City.

possibly, i just didnt expect this move from them. they will be losing a big chunk of their goals from last season. but since he has made that move he gonna really find it tough to find a regular spot in the team since man city has made all these moves this offseason

i just found out adebayor moved from arsenal to man city razzrazz
this is not good for arsenal, but i guess man city are serious abt buffing up their squad for this season. also in the ibra vs eto case i would go for ibra bcuz he has size, pace, skill, and can score from abt anywhere he pleases, his only downfall that i see is that he doesnt work hard like eto(which someone already said above me).

anywhere but in big games/CL games. but he could possibly be a solution to teams that play against barca with 9 men in the back.

Especıally sınce Man Cıty have sıgned about 57 other strıkers. I'm worrıed that Wenger ısn't goıng to pıck up anyone new, even though he saıd he'd spend the Ade money. And sınce Nasri ıs now out for a few months wıth a broken leg, the mıdfıeld ıs even shıttıer than usual.

yeah ibra is only done his best in the league, but for his country or cl i have yet to see him do work

yeah man city has loaded themselves with a shitload of strikers so i wonder how that will play out come the season. but i didnt know that nasri broke his leg,if wenger decides to stop being cheap in my eyes and just sshell out some cash we could have a better squad, like when he picked up arshavin i was a bit iffy on that but he showed he could play. now all we need is a stronger squad and we can compete for the title which we need back in our hands

Can't see Arsenal competing this year or even next season IMO. I think it'll be between United and Chelsea this year. Liverpool had their chance last year and i don't think they'll come that close again for another 2 or 3 years.

I think Hughes will have a hard time handling some of the egos now at City. He won't have any problems with the team that plays but the players sitting on the bench will be the difficult ones.

Predictions for City starting XI?

And back to transfers Eboue and Toure could be leaving Arsenal this summer, Real are close to signing Arbeloa and Tottenham are probably going to sign Peter Crouch.

I think Barca made a huge mistake by letting Eto'o go.
im not saying Ibrahimovic isn't a good player but IMO Eto'o is a much better player and im pretty sure he will dominate in Italy

Speaking of transfers. What a buy Ferguson made with Owen. The synergy with the team has shown as he netted a brace in his recent game along with Giggs scoring a hat-trick!

anyone watching the gold cup final? WTF US defense playing like they got thumbs up their asses

It's what I've been barking at for the longest. US has no heart. Simple. You play football as a sport, as a machine, for the tactic, not as footballer. You crumble under pressure. Vela is classes ahead of the yank younglings.

i love you

they're really shitty versions of the germans. the germans know how to win like a machine, whereas the US don't.

I really, really, really want Eidur Gudjohnsen at West Ham. He's class, exactly what we need, a bit of creativity.

Germans cheat! Dirty!

Brazil plays the most beautiful football.

As for transfers I want Memo in Europe. Not in Man U or Chelsea but in a team where he could atleast split time with another goalie. Maybe some top team from Turkey.

why all the fuss about the gold cup loss? i dont like to see us lose but it was not our full strength team. this tournament and selection of players was to see where we are at depth wise. not to take awy from mexico they did make us look foolish but the real game is august 12th at Azteca.

Germans have that winning mentality. They know they're NEVER underdogs when coming into a game. They have an advantage before the whistle blows for the game to begin.

There's no cheating in football. Just wit and sly trickery. Anything to win. That should be the mentality EVERY team should have before entering the field. Non of this underdog bullshit. Hounding the shit out of your opponents should be standard these days. Very few can perform under pressure. It's just a normal fact in life. It's uncomfortable and only those with a gift can get themselves composed enough to forget such a feeling.

So yes, Brazil does play the most beautiful football currently along with Spain. They have heart and proved it in the Confed Cup final when down 2-0.

Speaking of transfers. I'd really like to see a direct replacement for Van Der Sar in the near future. I mean, we've seen glimpses of Foster. He doesn't possess the maturity to command the backline yet, seems shaky, and apparently, can be injury prone. As for Kuszczak, he's error prone, and his positioning is often off.

foster is our number one after this season. goalkeepers develop late for the most part.

Van Der Sar might not call it quits after this season though. So more time for Foster to develop.

IMO Ben Foster proved himself at Watford a few years back. He commanded their defense and was one of the only good parts to an overall poor team. Whether or not VDS retires after this season i still reckon Foster will be no.1 and can see him featuring in a lot more games this year.
Beginning to hear about Silva coming to United again. It's between us and Liverpool if you believe the papers. I'd like to see him at Old Trafford but in all honesty i don't think we really need him.

SAF stated this summer VDS is done after this season and fosters the number one when he leaves. foster just signed an extension a few days ago.

I honestly believe Arsenal are on the decline. It just seems to me their only goal for next season is 4th place. Not good. But if someone can step up to the plate and take their CL spot i think it would be good for the game and would rock the premier league to it's core.

ramsey, wilshire, gibbs, vela are ready and willing.

simpson, bothelo, nordeivdt are names to watch as well as randall.

they got a good core coming up that are for the most part homegrown.

Gutted Ramsey didn't sign for United, after seeing him play I understand what he does now & how big he's going to be for British football. Jack Wilshere could make it big too.
