avatar isnt working?

i try to upload mine, but after the 'crop' it just shows the blank default. but if i dont crop, my profile will have the avatar uploaded but when i go in the shoutbox, it doesnt show the avatar

just to clarify, the top right next to my name shows the blank default, which is also shown in the shoutbox


it is shown when i post in threads though
