It's not the layout that is the major issue at hand. It's the software. Bring back vBulletin.

I don't really mind the new layout.
It seems to flow more and it's cleaner and I bet if it had all the functionality a lot of people wouldn't mind the new layout either.

make it show birthdays on bottom under all the users online, and total # of threads shown and total posts of the forum.

it needs find all posts by....
needs to go first unread post
it needs pretty much everything vbulletin had..... im not kidding, and more to make it stand out and unique

another feature i suggest is to put search box within each subforum like vbulletin had.

like you go to "off-topic" forum and in the black bar area on the top of the threads theres a search drop down, and the keywords search by posts and thread title.

subscribe feature now added in.
auto-subscribe to topic when posting a post.
also a un/subscribe button found at the top of the topic
subscribe menu can be found in forum menu.

thats cool and all, but you really next to fix the search functions of the forum.
it's too simplistic.

it needs to be able to search by certain forums, and subforums... make life much easier

actually under forums you can click the search forums and its actually a lot easier than the previous layout

If you were so certain of switching vBulletin for a forum that is based on your WordPress-site, why didn't you first had a beta of the forum running elsewhere, and would then add the functionalities before switching a technically superior forum system for this?

What the is this new bar on the bottom of the forums? I can't even hide it anymore. Its really bothering me, I really don't care how many followers hb has, nor do I want to tumble it, like it on fb, +1 it for google, or tweet it. Add the hide function back on the bar please.
