I'm still new to this kind of stuff so bare with me but .. whats the difference between all 3 ? I've been looking for light colored tan pants but I don't know which kind is better. Good explanation please ?

Khaki is a color. Or at least that's what it should be.

Twill is like how a pant is woven I think, it's a bit more textured.

Chino is like... well chinos are just better.

could you elaborate on the Twill and chino textures ?

Uhh, well I have a twill jacket and it's a bit stiff and rough, sorta like denim.
I imagine that twill pants would feel the same.

Chinos are much more smooth and soft.

Chino is a twill fabric, and yes Khaki is the dust color of desert sand. And chinos are pants that are often khaki colored. While twill and chino are identical, some pants have different textures based on thread content and quality of cotton.
