I hear lots of different things about the sizing of common projects, how do the desert boots fit compared to dunks/air maxes?

they fit a bit longer (from heel to toe). 9.5 US should be a 42, and a 11-11.5 should fit in a 44. i dont know how they fit in comparison to dunks/air maxes though

If you guys want to cop these for cheap, go to Bloomingdales. They are always on the sale racks.

I'm a size 12 on Pro-Keds, Vans and a size 11 on Converse. What size would I be on Common Projects Achilles?

I'd say 44.

I ended up getting 45s and the fit is perfect.

Also, what do the numbers on CPs mean?

I wear a 9.5 in Jack Purcells, but they are just a bit too narrow. 10 in Nike free+ 3.0 fits perfect with socks. I'm normally a 9-9.5 but sometimes have to size up to a 10 since I have wider feet.

Should I go with a 42 or a 43 in Achilles Low?

This is a tricky question. I usually wear a 9 so I opted to get a size 42 EU. However after reading several reviews and recommendation, I decided to order a 42 and a 41 low achilles from Mr Porter. What I realized is that 41, length wise, fits perfectly. However the width is waaaay too tight. It felt like my feet were being crushed. 42 EU on the other hand fits extremely comfortable (width). But there is just too much space in the toe box. In the end I decided to just return the shoes. Guess CP isn't for me :/
