They're pretty comfy imo. Compared to my wolverines and sneakers at least.

Looking for -- Triumvir BDU jacket and NBHDxstussyxlevis jacket both in small

just got a pair of bushacre's from nordstrom rack for $60. awesome colorway, wanted to love them, but usual problem of heel slippage. went down a half-size as usual but still uncomfy even after different types of socks. oh well.

cheers/dom

Crepe sole gets FUCKED in the rain, becomes super slippery. Ideal only for dry weather conditions.

They are extremely deadly in wet conditions. Wore my pair out in the rain and snow before. It's quite fine with a concrete base but once you enter a mall or on a bus you're literally slipping all over the place.

Does anyone have any experience cutting the heel off? If so what did you use to remove? Thanks in advance.

I used a blade that I had in a tool set and it came off nicely, I appreciate the suggestion though. I think it looks pretty dope without, more chukka style.

So I bought these:
www.glorysales.com/clarks-ori...ede-p-515.html

and I was thinking of returning em for the taupe suede ones:
www.zappos.com/clarks-desert-boot-taupe-suede

Should I return em? Or are my flint suedes just as versatile? I plan on wearing em with khakis and jeans exclusively

After seeing that pic, I definitely prefer heel over no heel

I kinda like it without the heel, but think it would look better if the back was a little higher than the front, kinda like a vibram christy sole:

I would prefer that too but since the heel is offset I don't think it would be possible. I wish they would make a desert boot with a wedge type sole.
