To get this thread back on the right track; what are some good community colleges in CA? I want to move there & get an apartment so I can go to a CC, get my gpa up, then transfer to a better university. It sounds like more work, but it raises my chances being accepted into some of the better colleges in CA if I come from a local CC, rather than a out-of-state one. And how much will a apartment in a decent area cost me?

the point is, when you said "If you lived in Cali you would understand", you were talking to someone from NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. then I called you an idiot for your lack of reading comprehension. which you've displayed yet again.

Ok so I made a mistake no need to call me an idiot just let me know. Goddamn. What the fuck is wrong with people these days. No ones is allowed to make a mistake. And the way you come at me doesn't help you're cause at all. Why don't you grow up first then come talk to me. You must be from So Cal you have a shit attitude.

i love teh bay more than anything i don't think i can ever love any other body of water so much

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymxrbEyqCbQ

I fucking LOVE that song, but you compared it to a corny ass place AKA the Bay. I'm sorry, don't give a fuck how hard Bay people are, how many guns they own ETC, they're just a bunch of clowns, theoretically, and literally.

i've heard a lot of stupid serious statements, and this has just got to be in teh top ten.

If you want to be in the bay:

Ohlone
Laney
Chabot
or City College of San Francisco

I'd say go to Long Beach City College or Santa Monica City. Long Beach is right in the middle of la and oc so you're 20-30 from everything. Shops, concert venues, and Long Beach is like a mini LA and less expensive. If you have a little more money Santa Monica City is a really popular cc and even closer to LA.

^yep true

but norcal is still 10 times better

i obviously don't live in ca but i've been to norcal and socal ... i just think norcal is more of a chill place, socal is too "hollywood" ... i mean there's a reason i saw more persian people in LA than in SF

anyway like it's been said before, this is not a norcal VS socal thread

I live in norcal, but one of my favorite hip-hop groups is in LA.

People Under the Stairs

If you've never heard of them. I STRONGLY suggest you go check them out. At least three of their songs: Acid Raindrops, San Francisco Knights, Days Like This.
