To get this thread back on the right track; what are some good community colleges in CA? I want to move there & get an apartment so I can go to a CC, get my gpa up, then transfer to a better university. It sounds like more work, but it raises my chances being accepted into some of the better colleges in CA if I come from a local CC, rather than a out-of-state one. And how much will a apartment in a decent area cost me?
