^^^SF is pretty expensive in general. You have neighborhoods where it's vibrant, lots of restaurants, bars, shops, young people and neighborhoods where you have a 30plus crowd that just wants a comfortable urban environment without sacrificing too much.

I live in the Mission District of SF. Been here for about a decade or longer. The Mission is pretty vibrant, mom and pop restaurants, high end restaurants, cool bars and lounges but it hasnt always been like that. It's cleaned up a lot but the Mission is still a rough neighborhood.



I used to live in the Richmond District for a while but that was completely different style in SF. Closer to the beach and the Golden Gate Park, lots of young families. A little more boring but way more safe. Cleaner, fresher, more single family homes than apartment buildings. After about two years of living there I moved back to the Mission. The weather was always overcast and a little more cold overall. Lots of microclimates in The City.

The apt in the Richmond District was 1600/mo. The one I have now in the Mission is 2k/mo.

fillmore/hayes valley with my family.. we're under section 8 housing and pay about 800 ish for 3 bedrooms :3

Socal Whack as fuck B. I visited L.A and surrounding areas once to see what the hype was all about and was not impressed. Traffic is ass.. The generally industry down there makes people all uppity and superficial .. Downtown looks like the crack epidemic never left... More used luxury car dealers than I have ever seen.. Sprawling strip mall.. I fux w/ Manhattan beach though.. Shits chill as hell.
