idk if it would be "dope" but yea shits crazy they r just some simple Retro nikes..

and there is a nike shoe called heven's gate
Jan 09, 2009 @ 21:34
I've head about those, I'm surprised they would give them that name. One of the most famous things about heavens gate was the matching cloths and the Nikes.

I personally think the Jonestown massacre is more of a powerful statement. They killed a congress man and hundreds willingly killed themselves in the name of one man.

Before i die i have to see these things in person. It amazes me that they were built thousands of years ago and are still standing today. Blows my mind that people so long ago were actually there. idk lol

i know it's incredible. funny thing is that archeologists scientists and historians all are in disbelief. they haven't found how they had sufficient technology to make these things. i personally believe it was the aliens. thats just me though.

I understand what this picture is
but what is the story behind it?

or is it jus to show the problem faced in third world
countries?

he waitied for the kid to die and watch the vulture eat him and took pics, instead of saving him.

wrong

the kid was alive when he took the pic

the vulture did not eat the kid

the photographer said the vulture eventually flew away and said he was waiting for the vulture to spread its wings for a better pic
Jan 10, 2009 @ 16:04
I heard the photographer was told to not touch any one, no matter what.
The kid would be better off dead instead of suffering of starvation.

Kevin Carter took that photo of the vulture and child. He waited 20 mins for the vulture to spread its wings but it wouldn't he ended up just snapping one of the most haunting photos ever during his trip to Sudan.
