I'm not saying anyone isn't doing it right I'm just expressing my disdain for the current trend in streetwear amongst the younger crowd. I guess its just that I come from the 90's sloppy Jap look. A part of me misses the exclusivity and the limited run, the hunt if you will. Not just walking to you local shopping mall after school and to buy whatever is hot at UO or the GAP. Then posting said 'hype' on the internet. I'd rather everyone look the same and have the fits worthy of conversation due to interesting pieces than skinny jeans and vans that I see all day everyday.

I don't think they are saying 9/10 people aren't "doing it right". There really should not be a right, it should be about individual style. The problem they have is that a lot of people are fitting into a particular mold. There is no doubt that there certain trends being overdone as of late, you can scroll through several pages and see that. Some people do them, some people do what's hot at the moment, some people may be doing both at once, by coincidence. I would agree that it seems like a lot of people have been fitting a "formula" lately. But that's expected. Most people are afraid to do something different because they want to be accepted. No hate to anyone because I can appreciate anyone's style, as long as it's them. But honestly, this conversation is probably not going to go anywhere, because it's been done before. I'll move on, everyone else should to.

i think that comes from supply & demand and pop culture, i think the difference between now and back in the day is that being an individual was inforced more,back then if you were biting dudes would flame you and call you out for it,now if you dress different people will look at you wierd and flame you,its society i guess
