It seems like we all tie our shoes. Whether it's tying our shoes to get ready for work or just tying them to go outside and play basketball its something every culture does on a regular basis. Yes, even asian people tie their shoes. Although one time asian people only wore kung fu(bruce lee shoes) like these that didn't even have shoe laces:
Shoes were considered a luxury in history. Black people didn't even wear shoes back then. They had to go bear foot, and developed large calluses.
In conclusion, shoe tying is not just an American past time, it's a world wide phenomenon that happens everyday whether drought, famine, typhoon, murder, sickness, death occurs. It is an activity that far surpasses any other routine and will be carried on through history.
