do you seriously have 1500 posts in a month and a half?
really? jesus christ, i guess this forum lives up to the name.
those shoes look fucking awful, almost as bad as red gucci loafers hahaha..
dont worry twiggy that kid has been posting on 5th d too much and thinks he's got some kind of right to talk shit. He's been drinking that haterade except he hasn't earned it. He was wearing spice girls t-shirts like 2 months ago with pinrolled BDUs and member's only jackets.
Now he's got a full closet of supreme, posts on 5th D and thinks his regurgitated hate from 5th D is actually his opinion. Doesn't realize that he's just a brainwashed troll.
In the end it doesn't really matter what you wear as long as you have the swagger to wear it. In other words, especially with street and high fashion it's not what you wear but how you wear it. I'd give props to someone wearing pradas dior denim and YSL tee just like that homie from like 2 years ago that posted on here, cause he made it look dope.
Are you referring to Stack Bundles????
The only problem with wearing YSL, dior jeans, and prada shoes is that its the epitome of an ASSHOLE'S attire. Not trying to say the shit is bad or not, but these brands market themselves to the wealthy. Its for people who want the prestige of knowing they bought something unique and somewhat unattainable to the mass consumer when in reality they're just being narcissitic clowns.
The rule of thumb people should follow when going out in public is:
Wear shit for the certain situation, and nothing more.
That's the point of wearing clothes: expression and looking good.
Fashion to that extent refers to conspicuous consumption, in which people who wear such clothing is doing nothing wrong. What's wrong with showing off what you wear?
It doesn't necessarily have to be narcissistic. People who post their pick-ups and fits do so to show off their shit and so people can ogle at them/their possessions and offer them praise.
poorly focused macro shots
wtf is mainland? in vancouver mainland is the geographical area.
=( i r jealous, the states got bomb ass stores
You are right, but "expression and looking good" can be done so in a manner of spending $50 bucks. You are buying hyped up self-esteem approval that has been accepted into our society as hip and the peak of coolness. What do you think all of the inspirations and re-hashes of clothes and shoes come from? Cheap ass classics that noone gave a shit about before. From Converse, Vans, military attire, etc.
There's nothing wrong with giving in to temptation of spending an extra $20 bucks or so over a Polo shirt versus an Old Navy, but atleast have the decentcy to acknowledge that you are a contributor to the whole scheme and into this facade.
Look what I put in bold, you said it best. Isn't that not what a narcissist embodies?
