kyx brings the truth, but there have been some mighty fine responses as well. Obviously when you look beneath a girl's clothing (yeah I'm sticking with that wording) you see the real person underneath, and those people who would discriminate against a girl because of how she dresses are clearly just insecure, or afraid, or jaded, or desperate for a reason to dislike people. But at the same time, girl in a nice simple summer dress >>>>> girl in sweatpants and hoody. Dresses and skirts, my god, I miss them. I don't just mean "now that the weather has gone south girls have put their skirts away", and I don't mean "skirts are sexy because they show some leg", although admittedly those are both components. I mean "fashion has become so casual and uninspired across the board that girls don't feel the need to dress like girls and men don't feel the need to dress like men." A girl who is comfortable and confident enough, and respectful enough of herself to actually dress up in something that a dood couldn't wear, that's very attractive. Girls who dress like girls ftw indeed.

Of course the other end of this is that men should dress like men. Hoodies and sweatpants are forgivable, tops, when you're in high school, but those of us over 20 ought to have respect enough for ourselves and for other people to actually dress like grown ups. And I swear to Almighty God I'll murder the next jerkoff I see wearing pyjamas outside of bed. PJs to class!? Fuck you we're trying to have a civilization here!
