So I owed my school 8700 in tuition and I got 17,727 in loans and and what not. 9,565 to be correct in loans. So like since I dont need all that money will they give that all to me? I just finished signing my MPN online so will they send a check to me in the mail?

i canada, its called osap, and we line up to get it processed during first week of school, afterwards, they direct deposit( as in sending money directly to ur account). Any money left over is urs, just remember, u have to pay at least part of that back, so dont go crazy spending it

I'm having a problem in that I got the loan but the company I used still didn't send the money to my school so now I have to pay late charges.

did u sign this thing called a Master Promissery Note? you gotta sign that before you get your loans. I know in Ohio thats how it works.

I got my financial aid the 2nd week of school, and with a loan after you sign the MPN you should receive it soon, if you check your college account it should let you know exactly when its being disbursed.

I love financial aid, $3000 a semester for free bitches!

me too Callum. I got nearly 5g's and I only pay 1g for living. a bunch paid off school.

I have saved 4000 and have 400 in my debit card :DDDD

I don't fucks with loans though. Just grants and scholarships

Yeah, once your MPN is signed, it should take a week or two for the school to receive and disburse the funds to your account.

Depending on the competency level of your school's creditor department, you should receive your money soon.

Hopefully, you don't go to an HBCU.

Fuck loans. Me, belonging to a family that isnt well off, with my mom not working and my pops owning his own business, I recieved full FAFSA financial aid coverage. My $14,000+ tuition for school per year is paid for completely, and they toss me an extra $600-1,000 check for expenses every semester. I buy books, sneakers, and previously a PS3 w/ the government's money. Pimping the system @ its finest muahaha

it is gonnah go on ur next semester tuition unless u tell financial services otherwise....... ucan get a refund check from your school if you wanted ... damn 9 grand is a lot of money.... i usually just take out a grand to spend on books and shit...

Thats what Im saying 9 stacks is alot. My Aid alone payed for my first year of college. The only reason I took those loans was cause the lady in the office was like do you have bills,and other needs to pay for and I was like yea and she accepted both the loans for me. Im like um i dont think i need that much can i give it back? she was like sure but why would u? i just looked at this lady like yea u right lol. I Know im about to have to pay a crap load back though.

But yo I get a check in the mail in like 2 weeks yall say huh?
