no hate but Temple U definitely ain't no top 20 business school if you're referring to undergrad. ain't even top 100 in most rankings.

geah my fault....should've been more specific. undergrad, you are right. its #55 as of this year's USNews ranking, but it's #9 in International Business & #17 in MBA programs

Being a nigga from the burbs allowed me to travel to Vietnam in high school. Being a nigga from the burbs gave me the chance to attend a school that allowed me to take a year of Korean and get 2 A's to bring my my shitty GPA up. Being a nigga from the burbs allowed me to attend a great university for one year before I started to act a fool and did the stereotypical thing black thing and dropped out. This is the college discussion thread, so I'ma say that I wish I got into UCLA so I could hang with more of y'all (oh shit, another generalization, my bad).

i exceeded their avg sat score by like 150.

my gpa wasnt the best though (3.1)
so they asked me to send my senior report card in. I sent it in (i got a 3.8 ) and i still get put on a waiting list? smh. bullshit.

thats weird, a kid I know who has below a 3.0 for all of hs and idk what he got on his sats, got in (or waitlisted, but he definitely didnt get rejected. Anyway, anyone else go to school in the middle of nowhere, or close to it?

didn't you say your SAT overall was 1600 a few pages back? That's average SAT for towson, not exceeding it by 150

CR/M combined average for towson is like ~1100 according to collegeboard

3.1 gpa is on their lower end.

Successfully TAG'd UCSD, waitin' on Berkeley and UCLA. Got an invitation to the Regents Scholarship for UCLA, which means I'm in the top 1% of the applicant pool, so I most likely got in. Cal's my top choice, though, so hopefully they offer it to me as well.

Hard work finally payin' off, literally.
