nah... chinese is written in both simplified and traditional ways... and you dont read cantonese same way as mandarin... like in english and other language... you may not pronouce same words in same way...

i am a Singaporean Chinese and I studied Chinese for like 10 years? and speak and write chinese for like 20 years? yeah man... i am shit talking... =D... hypebeast thanks hypism for his GREAT info... I wanna thank you too... Learnt something real new...

Sorry for saying that they arent read the same... What i know is... Hongkong-ers use Traditional Chinese, so i guess they wont be able to read and speak a Simplified Chinese script...
