I went in to zumiez to buy some tasteful black vans with a little bit of gold on them.

the guy working there kept trying to persuade me to buy some rainbow bullshit shoes.

i tell him no.

he then tells me how i'm just following the crowd.

he goes in depth about how unique he is and how he wore purple shirts in 6th grade etc.

he was such a generic hipster tool that I couldn't even muster up a comeback.

i cringe at the thought of people like this.

such a stereotypical zumiez employee.

thats funny because I went to Supreme in NYC and I went to look for some Supras. I ask the guy if I can try on the supras and he said this, "You know this is Supreme right?" I then said yeaaaa... I know. I don't know why he even asked me that. That just ticked me off right there.

Used to be a Manager at Zumiez, I agree that 95% of the employees are wack as fuck. But thats the people that they look to hire. The type of people that thrive at a company like Zumiez are the type of people who cant think for themselves and do exactly what theyre told. Bottom Line- Fuck Zumiez, fuck the staff and fuck the way they treat their employees and customers.

haha i think i went to one of those at an outlet mall. i was looking at some supras too! i was looking at the shoe and the kid who worked there just comes up to me and goes "man, don't you think these are DOPE?!" so i was like "yeah man, they the bomb diggity" then he was like "i know right?!" that's when i immediately left.

no. i even tried a pair on, just to see how they are for skating. materials feel cheap, padding felt paper thin, and they were just all around uncomfortable.
