you could get longboard wheels and trucks, and risers, but it would ride like shiit think. its not a longboard without a "long board" not the right shape.

any kind of skateboard deck will do. the actual smooth ride you will get is from the bigass tires. and you also need the longboard trucks which will make it easier to carve. and risers so the wheels dont scrape the board.

fastest bearings you can find. abec 10 is a good start

and if u only got normal skateboard trucks u need bigger screws and a plastic thingy to put between the trucks and the deck so the big wheels wont touch the deck namsaynnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

much easier to cop a new longboard tho :/

you need to but long board trucks, they are the only one with the kingpin at the right pitch.
www.google.com/products?q=sector+9+trucks&btnG=Search+Products&hl=en

then you need to grab some arbor longboard wheels.
any bearings should work, i dont think they have diff sizes.

then you need to cut the deck some wells. unless you just wont to get massive wheel bite and fall every turn you make.

oooooorrrrrrrrr

you could just by a short long board, they make complets you can by that are just as long as a normal skate, just slightly diff shape.

Get an oldschool fish tail deck. it can roll fast like a modern board, but its not as cumbersome as a longboard.
