ask your doctor about tetracyline and clindamycin

i had really bad acne and basically tried everything in the stores, but my body didnt seem to respond so well to what was being offered over the counter. i basically visited my doctor and he prescribed me those 2 items. tetracyline is an anti-bacterial medication (pill form) and clindamycin is a topical solution you apply to your face after you wash it. within 2-3 months (it takes a while), your skin clears up.you have to have patience.

QFT. There are some side effects using the two however. Depending on how sensitive your skin is, clindamycin will cause your skin to peel or burn after a few weeks. In taking too much tetracycline will yellow your teeth. However, the two do work and is quite expensive (prescription duh).

Doctors the only way to go. Whatever they prescribe will most likely work best for you.

Yupp. My cousin went to a dermatologist, had blood work done, hes acne free. ITs a miracle really, cause he had hella pimples hahaha. No joke. Best part is that his insurance covered it. If yours does, then why not?

Celebrities like Diddy & Jessica Simpson don't use those bullshit products they just get paid to be on the TV infomercials. Go to Wal-Mart & for only around $3 cop the St. Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub, shit works for me & keeps my face crystal clear of blemishes, been using that stuff for 5+ years too. A tube lasts me about 2-3 months of daily use. So forget about paying $50 for ProActive.

Severe Acne Free works. It's the orange box with four bottles. Use it every night before you sleep!

Also, don't mix and match soaps and creams. Stick to one. I know sometimes it feels like trial and error, but you'll eventually find one. Don't use Neutrogena in the morning, and then Pro Activ at night. Keep in mind that your skin is different than any one else's skin. You may be allergic to certain ingredients.

If your acne is really that bad go to your physician and ask him or her to provide you prescriptions to medication. I had sever acne a year ago but my doctor gave me some a pill and some peroxide? At first your skin starts peeling like no other then it goes away in like a month.

my acne cleared just by washing my face and not touching it during the day. of course it wasn't serious to begin with so I never needed to use and products really.. still get a couple here and there but they go away fast so it was never an issue with me.
