Yeah, if it came down to just purchasing a messenger bag rather than a laptop messenger, I was going to get a laptop sleeve.

Check out Chrome Bags.

I have had the Citizen model for awhile now and am quite pleased with it.

If you're looking for more of a custom bag then try r.e.load. They can custom make a bag for you. They have different styles, fabrics, materials and color choices. Many options...

i can get chrome replica bags by a company called back side for 50 bucks. plastic buckle so it doesnt dig into you. let me know. my connect in china makes them. much better than paying 130 for the same bag by chrome. chrome is the best thou. if you wanna blow cash check out baileyworks boston represent. these dotn have padding. so get a sleeve. and do it up.

if you want a all in one padded sleeve built into a messanger get the timbuk2 one. its kind of wack thou. the sleeve and promessanger is a better deal

timbuk 2's quality is amazing. that's what my laptop bag/messenger bag is. thing has survived three years of abuse so far. the laptop padded sleeve is nice too. they're a bit pricey though imo. but they stand the test. the back support of them too is insanely sturdy and thick.
