What do you guys use to prevent or treat acne?

i don't have it bad, but those random breakouts i wake up to in the morning just kill my day.

I've been hopping off of brands left and right though. = /

Ok im gonna put you on. I been using this stuff since HS and i never ever really get pimples. It will kinda make your skin dry but then just use a facial moisturizer and your good to go.

i think washing your face at night just makes it acne worse...i just use neutrogena oil free acne wash in the morning, try not to touch my face during the day & i rarely get any acne.

What i have started to do is use that neutrogena facial bead scrub , i wash my face like 3x a day morning/noon/night but after every time i wash my face i use some alcohol pads to get the left over dirt. works like a charm for me

i think it says on the bottles that your acne will get worse for like a week or two before it gets better.

I used ProActiv for 2 years, and it only got worse 'cause I kept popping my pimples.

The best thing to do is to wash your face when it gets oily. Even if it doesn't get oily during the day, wash it anyway with warm water.

And a word of advice: Do not touch your face. That bacteria from your hands and the oil combine to make acne even worse.

I used Clearasil ultra for awhile, cheaper and better then proactive. Still have a few pimples but not bad, gonna keep using clearasil untill someone comes up with something better.
