haha we should chop game about MMA sometime then and if you dont mind me asking what kind of styles do you train in right now im learning elements of chinese kenpo(kempo) western boxing BJJ and very little muay thai

BJJ as well, and some Hapkido for defense. I have done some kickboxing and might get into it a bit more. I also am going to be taking some amateur wrestling and hopefully Lerdrit if I can find a teacher, although that won;t really help for my MMA aspirations.

lerdrit is extremely hard to find in the states in my area its hard to find a muay thai school as well and most of the BJJ programs are quick and shitty black belt programs in about a month or two ill be fighting some kid from ATA ( american tae kwon do association ) those guys are nothing but cheer leaders in gis and theyre taught to lower their hands when they kick HAHAH!

lmao, are you training just for the exercise/experience or are you going to pursue a career in MMA?

and the schools around me are pretty much the same, no real dedication from the teachers, they just want to teach you and get paid, they don't care about your passion, etc.

i dont agree if you get knocked down and you only know muay thai you are royally fucked in the ass muay thai is an awesome stand up style and so is kempo but on the ground BJJ is almost necessary unless you want to end up liek mirko cro cop

thats in a purely Muay thai environment and thats totally fine those numbers are extremely impressive but in a Mixed Martial Arts environment if you stumble or get knocked down on your ass muay thai wont help you no diss to muay thai i love the sport and the style and buakaw is one of my favorite fighters but thats in a pure muay thai environment
