^Heres a few random thoughts...the F20 is a much better engine then the H22. RWD>FWD. Turboed H22 civics almost always have traction problems off the launch even with slicks down. The S2000 is probably one of the best "out of box" cars out there. Perfect 50/50 weight ratio, plus great handling. Civics don't got shit over it.

the aesthetics of the car is open to debate. But, the S2000 is no doubt is a great performing car. 240 all motor horses out of 2 liters? crazy. 50/50 weight ratio on a convertable? even better.

wow that car is ugly. Looks like they just stuck a spoiler on a miata.

^ you really think so? i find them to be the ugliest and worst convertibles ever.

haha that is the stupidest thing I've heard you say. The S2000 is one of the best looking convertable's ever, period. In 10 years that car will still look good, unlike miatas. haha You are an idiot.

Not entirely. Volkswagen have managed to squeeze out 230bhp on a 1.4 litre engine in their Golf GT TSi. One turbocharger plus one supercharger and some ECU tweakage and you're in business.

i wouldnt hate on the owner of one nor if i was given one, just couldnt use my loot for anything other than an audi, once youve driven with all 4 tires in power you cant go back to a front wheel drive car especially one that small. agreed though you can dip off in one pretty quick but i wouldnt sacrifice some perks for speed unless of course its a 240sx (mmmm sweet) as a second car

???? front wheel drive? S2000 is RWD dude.
as for Audi's - even with their AWD they still understeer when pushed. they're good in snow i guess.

as for the Golf GT Tsi - you can't compare NA with forced induction. thats what makes the F20C motor so impressive. its making similar power figures as turbo charged 2L engines - SR20DET being best example. then again - stick a turbo on an S2000 and its game over.

eitherway, the top end speed is not what the S2000 is about. its the whole package as a drivers car. anyone who's taken one for a good hard drive through some nice bends and corners will know whats up. unless you're too tall or fat >sad

agreed though that the colour on this CR edition is pretty off razz

Driving an s2000 is way funner than driving a miata..they aren't even in the same level for me..the new mx-3 needs to die and the s2000 has the entire package

S2Ks are not for me, having driven them on a few seperate occasions, I will say that as far as corners and curves, it is by far the most fun car I have ever driven. SHITS ON MIATAS.

no sh!t rwd, stock? (always figure the ones that were, were modded to drift) than add 1 point... giving them 2 in my book 1 for clean lines the other for drift capabilities
ive a '99 s4 and havent had any understeering probs but ive got aftermarket suspension. i pray for snow... mountains of it. bigggest probs have been in the electrical department which is apparently not the prob for hondas, u just cant seem to kill them... like roaches lol you can always just switch something and they get another 100000, but they are uncomfortable to drive. the seat is to level with the ground i feel like im laying down to drive

yeah some good suspension tuning will help sort out understeering with Audis but as far as stock goes....... while the awd helps correct understeering you can still feel it pretty much cos of the inherent characteristics of the car - a lot of weight over the front wheels and that even with AWD it' still got a front wheel bias drivetrain. still a damn hot car though smile

as for S2K's all I'll say is that even if you don't like how it looks its still sooo fun to drive. the chassis is ridiculously stiff due to the x-frame and it just makes the car so snappy and responsive through corners, although some ppl find it too snappy.
and yeah, the seating position is DAMN low. wouldn't want to be too short haha

just a question - how much do you S2000's retail for in Nth America?
