I still remember all the guys back when i was in high school who got tatts of things they "thought" were cool, or they thought they loved, and ended up regretting it later...

For example, i've seen people tattoo the Joker on their arm coz they thought they loved Joker from the movies, and ended up regretting it... another guy tattooed his favorite lizard on his leg, and regretted it... i mean in all honesty, i have countless stories of people getting tatts at young ages and regretting what they got coz they didn't think about it...

So in all honesty, think and think again about what you want... and more importantly, think about what your going to think when your 30, 50 and 80 having that tattoo... coz this shit is for life, and will stick with you till the day your 6ft under...

I agree with this. Your mindstate will change as you grow up and all the "Cool" ideas from ur teen to early 20s are not going to seem as cool when u get older.

I have 8 tattoos. All have significance to my heritage, family, losses and self. I have one tattoo that I'm not as happy with, and it was an impulse tattoo that looked "cool" on paper. There is a meaning to it, but it is one that I have assigned to it as I grew, about the duality of life and how things can flip in an instant.

just wondering if anyone here got any of the pieces of their body suit done the way the yakuza do it in japan, with the bruch full of needles and they tap the ink into your skin.

Even living in Japan it would almost be imposible u would be waiting a very long time! BUT if u are lucky he always comes to the Las Vegas tattoo convention every year... Almost nearly impossible still but u never know, also u would have to have alot of money!

U mean tebori, traditional japanese tattooing.. There is only a handful of people in the US right now that are considered a master of the art.. And by handful i mean no more than 5.. Its an art that takes years and years to perfect! I have contact Horiyen aka Jess Yen to get tebori done but he charges almost double and its on a waiting list cause if he waitlist for machine..

Okay I'm scratching that tupac quote just because I'm not built yet and it'd just look ugly without the proper build.

I'm considering getting on the outside of my hand from my wrist to the middle of my pinky finger "dreamer" or "dreaming" in a sort've itallic handwriting font.

Do you think it'd be too risky for jobs when I'm older?

dude it was the ame when we were giving u advice for your neck... Unless u are 100% sure that u have a career lined where it will be accepted then yeah u can go ahead but if not, not a smart idea.. Also thats a pointless spot because it fades really fast, my friend got it done, and his is really faded.. also dude script from shoulder to shoulder u can be any build.. i see people who are huge and people who are super skinny... As long as the right person can work with your body structure, u are good with that spot!

Personally I would make sure it could be covered up by a short sleeve. That way it doesn't really limit the shirts you can wear without it being noticed.

When I get my half sleeve part will be showing from the S/S tees, if it's an issue (if I even ever wear a S/S shirt to work (depending on job) I'll just use concealer.
