at 6 or 8 it is most likely going to shrink back.

thanks a lot.

so right now im at 16g, im going to go buy the 14 sometime this week, what do you guys recommend that i should get if i stretching my ears? Right now im just using this:

But i understand that for these, the biggest they'll go will probably be a 14g or 12g...

i plan on getting something like this when i hit a 6g, but how would i put it on. From what i understand, after reading all the pages of this thread, trying to shove it in will be a bad idea...

thanks a lot for the help smile

My ears are pierced regular. How do I increase that tiny hole... to start using plugs?

Serious question. Do you start that small, then over time start using bigger plugs, piercings?

Im planning to gauge my ears, but i didnt want to read through all the pages of the thread. the lowest i think ill go will be 6 or 8. If i decide to take them out, will they go back to normal?

theyll go back down

6 & 8 are mad small though, if you get hooked (i did) youll want to keep going

i actually said the same thing you did lol. i might stop at 00...not too sure yet

get something like vitamin e oil, jojoba oil or emu oil and you can use it as lube/something to massage your ears with after you stretch to make it heal better and quicker. when you're going to use it as lube just dip the taper in 1/3rd of the length of the taper and then stretch.

yeah i didn't feel like going around asking for weird obscure oils so i just went to a drug mart skin care aisle and found the vitamin e oil there. it was kind of expensive (like $15 CAD for a small bottle) but it's probably going to last me a long time since i don't need to use much.

why do you guys recommend i use tapers as oppose to other things to stretch my ears? are they the best? and what material should i get for the tapers?

i found 14g tapers on ebay for 5 bucks shipped. then i learned i didn't need them and wasted 5 bucks so it's sort of a guessing game if you don't know what gauge your piercing is. basicaly i believe you can get tapers from 14g all the way to 00g.

Tapers are the easiest and safest way to stretch doggie. If you've had your piercings for a minute material shouldnt really matter too much. But for new piercings keep it to steel since theyre not pourous and can't collect bacteria etc. I had my steel 12g ring/barbell things in for like 3 weeks and the 10g i have are acryllic i think and it was fine.

yo flatland, what are u stopping at again? after having my 00's in for so long, im honestly considering going past the poing of no return suprised and go maybe one or two sizes bigger

also for the person wondering about tapers, flatland is right go through body artforms but what i also recommend that you let your ears heal for at least 2-3 weeks before sizing down more so and always use some form of lubrication -___-

hope that helps
