I live in a nice house with my parents(17y/o). When we bought it in 1990 it was 400k we recently got an estimate and its worth 950k now. Im almost imbaressed to say i live in a filthy rich snobby ass neighborhood and 50% of my neighbors are microsoft/software dudes with millions of dollars. Im basically sourounded by million dollar plus houses...its ridiculous.

how much did you guys end up having to put down payment for those condos you've profited decently from.

buying a condo is a minimum of 10% down. Majority of ppls just saying how much their condo or house "should be" worth if they ever put out on the market. Just because your neighborhood sell their home for $800K, you will get the same.

me & my feyonce bought a house a little over a year ago, but becuase of the shitty ass real estate market right now in vegas, if we sold it today, we'd probably lose like 30 grand!

good thing we're not.

anyway, we're in the process of getting a condo and renting it out.

with those new new eras, you should be able to afford it , no?lol

and I live in a coop with a family member. To buy a condo or house in NYC, you'd have to have run into some large amount of money or be in your late 30's or 40's having saved for a couple of years. Of course we cant forget having a "nice" paying job.

i own a 4 bdrm house....out in the boons. only way i could afford one. but my housing track has a 31 acre lake and im across the street from a park and a college, so im happy with it.
