I get $20/week for doing a ton of shit around the house. I can't get a job right now due to school and other shit so my folks are sympathetic to an extent, which is why I get allowance.

^Just cause someone gets a small allowance doesn't mean they're not able to cop anything. $20/week could just as easily be 2 tees or a hoody every month. And don't forget the little things people can always do n the side to make some cash.

I never got an allowance, I work part time and make like $140 a week which isn't too bad for HS and does a decent job of feeding my sneaker addiction

I never realized the extent of how young some of the people on here are. If you're getting allowance I'm guessing you're under 16 because by that age you should be out looking for a job or already have one...then again, that's just my opinion.

God, we've got some spoiled kids on here. 80 bucks every other week! 20 a week! I still get allowance, I'm not afraid to admit it, but I get $12 a week. I make most of my money from other random things, cuz I don't have time for a job with school.

make time for a job, it can a worthwhile experience. i work around 10 hours a week at $8 an hour, i play club hockey 4 times a week, and have a 92 average. i'm 16...im not saying this to be arrogant, i have no problem if you get an allowance, but dont complain about it

lmao well im 16 yrs old, my parents decide when or when not to give me my allowance... they'd rather give me $5 for lunch everyday, but hey i wouldn't blame them because i have no real job, I just do my chores and take out garbage...

I get allowance for doing things around the house...the max I can get is 20 bucks...

5 dollars to wash a car...we have 5 cars but i wash 2 and my bro washes 2

taking out the garbage, 5 bucks

making my bed everyday, 5 bucks

haha easy money...

yeah its an easy job. just sorta make food for fat people, and when no fat people are coming in, you watch TV in the employee lounge
