you can't grow it, you can't smoke it, you can't sell it, you can't own any

smoking/owning a small amount can get you a 3750€ fine
selling can get you life in prison and a 7500000€ fine

if you're growing for smoking purposes only, 3 years in jail and 50.000€ fine

now that's just theory, irl here's what happen:

you get caught with like 2 grams, you'll go downtown for a couple hours you'll get a fine and that's it, or if you'll lucky the cops will just take your pot and smoke it in their car (happened to me twice)

if you sell i don't really know because i don't know cus i havent been caught selling and i don't know anyone who has, but based on newspapers, if you just sell to make ends meet, you won't go to jail, you'll just have a fine

if you grow, 90% of the time, the juge will understand that it's only because you're a stoner and you don't want to buy from dealers, if you don't have any record, you'll get off with like 500€ fine.

Problem is in theory the law is very strict, so if cops want to fuck with you, they really can.

In France you can buy alcohol at age 16 tho, and nobody asks you for ID ... so you can't get high but you can get drunk at age 16 ... and France is the country in Europe were the most people smoke weed (mostsly hash)

I guess it depends on the type of cannabis, e.g. sativa or indica. Sativa's grow pretty tall, I think almost 18-20ft (correct me if I'm wrong)
