a lot of popular streetwear brands from the 2000s have fallen off from what they used to be. Its Jan 1 2014 what will this year be like in terms of FASHUN?? What brand is on the rise and which brand will fall????

IMO I think Hood by Air and Been Trill are gonna do really well this year. I dont fuck wit them but I see a lot of heads paying top dollar for these brands and they are all selling out.....  People are always looking for the flyest gear and this will probably be the year that they dominate.

even Adidas??? HOnestly, for those that keeps an eye on the sneaker community, it's pretty obvious Nike dominates.  People dont usually think twice before buying Nike ,but for Adidas.......maybe if the collabo is right or if its year of the snake. I dont know.. I dont think Kanye can do Adidas like he did Nike.

Hopefully this is the year all that illuminati type shit dies. Hate seeing people where upside down crosses and black scale. Shit looks so stupid.

never under estimate kanyes style influence. the man got kids wearing skirts.
kanyes adidas deal will be the same level as nike but can't top it. but in general you're right, nike will forever be on top.

I don't know about hba the brand, but I do think the shirt layering them and high fashion brands have been doing might catch on to some degree

Straight up, with the decline of the "big" streetwear brands I think its time for the little brands to start branching out and to step up on the scene more. Im not saying become next Preme but they have to at least put in more effort to make something "unique or different" I think a lot of brands have potential and IMO this is probably the right time to start.

streetwear is an everyman's thing it won't die,it might die in your perception or the current trends(which is an endless cycle)you're looking at a few popular brands and basing an entire movement/style/culture fate on them, come on homie i know you can say something better that.

hba tries too hard and can be incoherent   in their attempt to bridge "fabulousity" and traditional pieces, its like they dont know which direction to go and end up with an unisinpiring and damn near comical hodgepodge of haute couture and rtw.
imagine if they didnt have any links to kanye or anyone in his crew?

HBA was built off having rappers wear it.  rocky was the first and now it's right there with the whole been trill shit.  These brands can really only get so big cause everyone is already aware that those who buy into their stuff are really the biggest fuckboys out there.  ever searched #hba or #beentrill on instagram?  you'll laugh you're ass off looking at those buying their stuff and no one else wants to affiliate themselves with those jackasses

I don't even. What the fuck is any of this? This can't possibly be 'fashion'. I can appreciate many different styles I don't adhere to, outlandish ones like Decora/Fairy Kei, EGL/Sweet Lolita, Boso/Yankee, hell, even that Lunar/Ninjacore shit to an extent, but this is fuckery at its finest.
