How does any hip-hop fan actually thumbs this down?
stop searching for approval.
I'm pretty sure he's question why anybody would disagree with the accomplished list of MC's he put down.

A year or two ago I'd be able to make a list. Lately I haven't really been into music. (Mainly rap)  I do know my choice of favorite rappers isn't the same but I can listen to Doom, Action Bronson, Quasimoto, and Azealia Banks without skipping a track.

I highly respect rappers like Big, Jay, Nas, Ye, Mos, Common, Pusha T, Charles Hamilton, etc. I actually LOVE most of their albums but I can't say they're my favorites anymore. It's weird.

I think Hip Hop has evolved. It's way more diverse now.

Yeah man
Technology has definitely affected Hip Hop in so many ways- good and bad.
Anybody can be a rapper now; all they really need is a camera and social media.
Rappers have beef over twitters.
Corporate America saturating the genre since the 80's but it's so much easier now for them
